Time Trial only Setup - Time posted: 1:33:440 - 15th on Xbox leaderboard

I always enjoyed this track, and its not so different from previous years. It is slightly harder, specially the first long corner, its not so easy to get that spot on.

I probably lost a couple of tenths round the lap, and a couple more at the hairpin, but its tricky to get every corner 100% perfect, so I am happy with this setup. I hope you do too! Enjoy :geek:
this tune is awesome kyle

Always love your setups kyle, they were a great help last year. I just tryed this setup out with the idea to adjust it slightly for online race.I just went into 50% race and in practice I came in 1st place with 1.38.082 i just adjusted the gears slightly as above to compensate for the Kers in race. Also made a couple of changes to try keep my tyres. Made 6th with 1.37.292 in short qual but was hampered by other cars on track perez came in first with 136.780 if i had a few more clean laps i am sure there was another second in there.

I like your Setups :) is this a good Setup for online Qualy and Race?

I tend to run down to 5-3 and aerodynamics under the box 2 or 3 steps whole gearbox. but letting tambiem ba great alike, depending if you run in a race of 25% percent or more get off the box and aerodynamics but can leave the same. as the car with the opening laps short box ire much faster as the car filled with the short box were better.

This was set in Online Mode in the Torro Rosso, the time was a 1.33.5**

Managed a 1:35.010 but if I could nail the first corner I'm certain I can get in the 1:34 bracket easily. No issues with grip though, very comfortable so definitely pushable by the best. Used No assists and controller to get this time.

I'm bad at this track so I expect almost everyone to be quicker. FPS loss in turn 1 didn't help either but well...didn't make a difference in the end, I believe.

| Career and Multiplayer setup! |

Hey guys,
I saw some other setups of you guys, very nice! :)
This one is for the Multiplayer and the race in career of China. (Dry)
- I play always on Legend. Race: 25%

Every single detail can better. But this is not a TT setup. so everyone knows that your tires wear out, so maybe is this really fine for people who are don't know how to make a good setup for multiplayer and career. :)
So I know every car in career is different but if you have some trouble with this setup you can improve with some of the settings. Much oversteer? Change your rear anti roll bar. Trouble with top speed? Change your front and rear wing and your gearbox of course. etc.. etc.. :)
So good luck! And hope you like the setup. :D

I Know if your using a TT setup you will just get stuck with the gearbox, which not give you enough top speed without DRS

Notes
On carreer mode with Williams, my 3rd race so far, i started in Practice with times going near 1.38.xxx, then went down to 1.37.xxx in Prime tyres, then i switched front wing in Q3 to 6, got a little bit oversteer but that's how i like it, i became 1st on Q3 with a lap time of 1:36.191 in two laps, the hot lap was hitting kerbs and using KERS in almost every exit, saved 50% for last two corners, the most difficult part is when taking the esses, then 2 left corners in 2nd gear, the car oversteers and it depends on how you attack the asphalt, sometimes it understeers and make you lose the lap, but if you control that, and take that part fast, you'll probably make it through 1.36.xxx or 1.35.xxx .
When braking, i do not use the option of change to rear or front, i always keep on neutral, because i'm on a xbox 360 controller in PC and sometimes, if i hit harder, i block tyres and lose the lap. I recommend to use the KERS in almost every exit, and open DRS when car's stable at exits. You'll hit the apex several times, and mostly you'll have to steer and hit the kerb, but i think a hot lap is great. It was my first pole on F1 2012, i'm impressed, i celebrated like if i was on that car.
Cheers from buenos aires, argentina.
p.s.: In steam, i'm giannicasale, for if you want to invite me to some multiplayer rooms :)

I ran this setup (I included Recruits changes), but with 8 on the front wing, and 4 on the rear, and got a 1:36.983 in Q2 in career mode. Q3 it rained.

Edit: I also used High Pressure brakes.
are you lot gods or something as i cannot for love nor money get anywhere near your times with these setups. i am using standard 360 controller but if any1 has suggestions for a decent wheel please reply. in practice i'm getting 1.41.3 tops in the williams with 5 laps of fuel. any sugestions for improvement?
