Introduction
Welcome to the second season of the RD Open Wheel Championship. This championship will be a four round league for 24 Formula 3 cars with Reiza Studios' Game Stock Car 2012 simulation.

The RDOWC S2 will be held during July 2012. Four races will make an interesting short championship on Saturday nights.

Practice: On race day the servers will be open all day to practice
Qualification: 19:30 GMT (20 minutes)
Warm-up: 19:50 GMT (10 minutes)
Race: 20:00 GMT (50 minutes)

For this season race drivers are allowed to drop their worst result. Therefor you can miss one event due to absence or simply scrap that race were nothing seem to work for you. Your three best results will count towards the championship.
If after four rounds the championship is not decided a shootout will be organised.
The overall standings after each round will decide the startgrid for the next race

To sign up for this season you need to do the following three things:

• Apply for a free RD Licensed Membership (if you don't have one already)
• Make sure you have some track experience first in our Racing Club, before signing up for this league

Special Notes

• For the first round of the season there will be no time for a pre-qualification. Group 1 will be populated with the drivers that also committed in the first season and be filled up randomly with new entrants. Group 2 will be exclusively for newcomers to the series. Only during this round both groups will use the same point distribution system and after the results have been posted new groups will be formed for round 2 and will be based on scored points and continue with the normal Group 1 and Group 2 point distributions system on wards
• We hope all drivers are joining RD TeamSpeak channel for pre- and post- race interviews and server briefings prior to the race. So if you have a headset and TS installed please do join us.
• Cutting corners is strictly forbidden. Please read our general league rules once more and especially section 6. The two images below perfectly show what is allowed (thumbs up) and what is not allowed (thumbs down) so there can be absolutely no discussion about it.

  • On a few parts of the Taruma track the white lines that mark the boundary of the track are missing. This means that its okay to take the run off area (see the picture below)

• • On the last exit however the white line is present on the inside of the curbstone. This means its not okay to take the run off area (see picture below)

Suggestion: why not give points for all drivers who finish races? like rdtcc, then fight for 15th would be more interesting, and will force to not get a dnf, and giveups, etc
