Comming sunday, the last of the RDTCC races will be held. As said a few posts back, this series will run after the RDTCC. So, keep an eye out, for the announcement of the new series, and the details that will follow soon. Introduction
Welcome back to the RaceDepartment GT Championship. This time the event will be hosted in the Race07 series. The series will use the GTR Evolution and the GT Power Pack expansion packs. The league will run for 5 rounds on Sunday's over a 2 months period.

Sign up
Interested drivers, with a licensed membership can apply for a place in the league. Every licensed member and owner of SimBin's Race 07 GTR Evolution plus GT Power Pack expansion is welcome to join the championship.
Details about sign up format will be in sign up threat.

Sign up open: 9th November 2011
Sign up closed: 24th November 2011
Publication of final drivers list and divisions: 30th November 2011

Divisions
There will be 2 divisions if signup allows so. Both divisions hold 24 places. There will be a promotion / delegation system. Top 5 of the Second division promote to first, and bottom 5 of the First division will be delegated.
There will be 1 qualification event before the series start. This event determines which division you will drive.

Available cars
The cars for the RDGTC will be from the GTR Evolution and GT Power pack expansions. When you sign up you need to pick a car as 1st choice together with a 2nd and 3rd preferred car. We can’t guarantee that you will drive your first choice for the season. If your first choice is not available we will assign you to your 2nd or in some cases to the 3rd choice.

Qualification
The qualification round will be held on 27th of November 2011. During this day, there will be a special server open for a period of 6 hours. Details will follow in the News thread.
All who enter the signup, are obligated to make a fast lap within this session. When the servers close, the results shall determine the division that you are in.

Round 1: Hungaroring (8th January 2012)
Round 2: Dubai 2004 (15th January 2012)
Round 3: Spa Francorchamps (29th January 2012)
Round 4: Portimao (5th February 2012)
Round 5: Abu Dhabi (19th February 2012)

Session Info
Every race will have 4 sessions, practice, qualification, warmup and race.

Practice: 30 minutes starts at 19:00 GMT
Qualification: 20 minutes starts at 19:30 GMT
Warmup: 10 minutes starts at 19:50 GMT
Race: 65 minutes starts at 20:00 GMT (Including formation lap)

The final round of the season will have a duration of 90 minutes.

Independents and Constructors
RDGTC S5 is an individual championship. However constructor points are also ranked in a championship. All cars have to be used to level the grid so there will be a 8 x 3 grid. Preferences are to be given with signup. Racestaff determines final car choises.

Liveries
Having you own livery is mandatory, if you can’t create your own we encourage you to ask help from the community. All liveries need to be submitted before the deadline, including a screenshot. A skin pack will be created, and made available as download content.

Livery deadline: 1st January 2012
Skin pack will be online on the 4th of January.

Absence
This is the most important part of the league briefing you need to understand! If you are allowed to drive the in league we expect you to be present during all races of the season. If you happen to miss out on an event and go missing in action afterwards without giving any notice the race staff reserve the rights to terminate your licensed member status on RaceDeparment.

Incidents
It may happen that rules get violated. In such cases it is up to the drivers to report the violation. The staff encourages this and will only investigate incidents that are reported by drivers.

No report = no investigation = no penalty

A report can be sent to the staff by private message. It must always contain:

o Name of the league: RDGTC S5
o The name of the reported driver (the violator)
o A link to a youtube or vimeo movie that shows the incident in various angles.
o A short description of the incident, without rant, along with the timestamp

You must always send the report with your own forum account. You can only send a report if you were actually in the race. Report from outsider will be not be considered.
After sending the staff will then investigate the incident. Incomplete reports will not be considered.

Reports must be sent within 24 hours of the finish of the race. Reports that come in too late might not be considered.

Your own livery is mandatory for the RDGTC S5, if you cannot skin a car yourself we encourage you to find somebody who can within the community or download one of the hundreds of skins from the RaceDepartment database.

The Racedepartment and RDGTC S5 logo's are mandatory, no fixed place.

You can report absence until Friday prior to the race by writing a post here. On Saturday morning the final line ups will be presented by a forum post in drivers briefing of upcoming event. No more absences are allowed after posting the final list.

Do you sign up as a team or do you just sign up as individual and are you getting put into a team?

Signups are individual. During signup, you select 3 of the cars from the list.
At the end, all who have signed up shall be devided over the 8 different cars, which makes 8 groups, of 3 people.

The points which are rewarded, are for you as a driver. Besides that, points will also be awarded to the car. So each car is ranked 3 times, so 3 times points will be awarded.

So the team is the manufacturer.
