you over heating the pc? i've had to open the window in the room to help keep things cool. i'm nearly melting otherwise... let alone the pc

Group 1

Qualification
Well, the first two sectors were quite good, but I did a big mistake in Parabolica, I was wide and ended in the grass. So with the slowest time, I didn't start from the last position only because there were two guys with no time.

Race
I expected, that from the 17th place, it will be not very easy to finish on a good position. Fortunately, the race was very exciting, because many times, I drove in the group of 4 or 5 cars, and all clean, it was very nice. Racing in the group consist of me, Dino, Yves, Ramon and after couple of laps Ross joined as well, was very nice and intense.
After the pit stop, I was right behind Dino and we had very long battle. He was only a little slower than me and he barely did mistakes, so it was hard to overtook him, but fun. It was quite hard to brake to the first chicane, when I was very close to Dino, so one time, he slowed down a little bit more, than I expected and to avoid the collision, I had to take a shortcut. But before that, I shot down some signs next to the track. Because of that, I received the first warning about cutting the track. But of course, I let Dino to overtook me.
Unfortunately, after couple of laps of intense battle, I hit Dino before the first chicane. I don't know why exactly, because it was some distance between us and I think, that I started to brake as usuall, so no big late braking, well not late to get the turn, but that was not enough. But despite of that, it was clearly my mistake, I should took the inside line and avoid the collision, maybe I could overtook him at that point. So really sorry Dino (I sent PM). Fortunately, he didn't receive the s&g penalty, and both cars could continue in race. I lost more time in that, so the gap between me and Dino rised (abou 3-4 seconds).
Because in that lap, I did a little mistake in Variante Ascari, which the game consider as cutting the corner, so I received the second warning, I had to drive very carefuly. And because of the relative big gap between me and Dino, I was quite satisfied with my position. But with each lap, I was a little closer to Dino and when I was right behind him again, I totaly forgot about driving carefuly. And finaly, he did a mistake in the second chicane, so I managed to overtake him and finished on the 5th position, which is very good, considering I started from 17th position.

Nice pics Michal. I'd just like to echo what you were saying about the racing last night; it was always very clean and fair, and i don't think i even had the slightest contact with anyone, even on the normally chaotic opening laps.

I just made this table for my team and the Norwegians running in the league.

I'm really sorry but I can't make the last round! My girlfriend will have her birthday on Tuesday and I have to be with her! She lives ~130km from here so you can see the problem! I hope you'll all have fun!
