Indeed it should be. Laguna is one of my favorite tracks. But we have a love-hate relationship lol. Best times for me here are in the low 43s. So lots of work to be done. :)

I only have bad memories of Laguna lol. Especially when i had the bright idea to do some rookie races there :p

Now i´m barely holding on to my C license due to people thinking all other cars are ghost cars..

If some others sign up Will, move me off the list for this one, as I may have to do the RDGTC commentary.

Ok will do Ryan. Thanks for the heads up.

I have never really been good at Laguna, so I'm not looking for a good start in the points department.

After really enjoying the club race at Road Atlanta sign me up please - might struggle to make the first round but should be okay for the rest.

Will everyone have to stick to the type of MX5 they chose in the first race?

^^^ If we get a vote on that - I'd say no lock-in required, as there are only the two models and they are essentially the same (even with the gearbox difference). Personally, I plan on using the Cup car the whole way (I own a LHD, 5 speed Miata) myself.

I would honestly have to say lock it in as well. My reasons for this is as we all know they are essentially the same car, but they really aren't. On some courses people swear one is better than the other, and then on a different course the other may be better. Having the cars locked could make it more interesting to see who does better where and with what car. This would also give someone a chance to get closer to a win or have the upper hand at least for one race. However with this being open setups would it really matter?

Thanks for bringing this up guys.

Updated championship info. Drivers must use the car they choose for the first race and use the same one throughout the season. Failure to do so will result in a points penalty.

Also for anyone using custom MX-5 paints for the season. Please post your link from Trading Paints here and I will put together a skinpack for everyone to download before the race.

So far the custom skins that I have are from Longshot Racing from Glenn and Eric.

And another one from just 2 minutes ago @ 1.41.841 :)
Hopefully I can reach 1.41.5 or less pretty soon... Can't help but thinking having a world record or just being in the top5 would be really nice :)
