I'm not going to lie I usually don't practice too much for oval racing, but this track is something else. I've put in hundreds of laps trying different setups and different turning points and I'm still learning new things. I encourage anyone in the Indy 500 race to come out and spend all the time they can on the track. Trust me, it can get frustrating, but putting forth a fast lap and hitting every corner correctly feels great.

Welcome to the Indy Addiction club guys, I've personally turned over 3000 laps at this tracl since the NTM came out on the Indycar. it's easy to drive but a huge challenge to go fast here.

Tonight (European pov) is the first official hosted practise session. That's the ideal opportunity to test you feel.

I'll personally attend from 17:00-18:00 GMT and from 20:00-23:00 GMT if I haven't dropped dead by then. ;)

What's the difference between hosting a race and hosting a tournament?

    Yoeri Gijsen

Not much, I think, if you keep it to a single session. Tournament do however offer a way to follow up with the results from the previous race.

So a tournament is a series of races in one session instead of just one race?

It's several session that follow up on each other. It's a regulated group knock out way of hosting.

I'm really looking forward to this, ran a few laps of low 41's and think a 40 is easily possible, am I going to be too slow?
