Rally - Historic Toyota - Monday 16th & Tuesday 17th January 2012

ooh it was pretty good. guys just picked up speed like rockets. lol i had two CFH and on one stage i was on the game and the game went down to desktop. so had to retire. but it was awesome the car is good if you get used to it. congrats to the top guys you were flying i just cant imagine how you did it.. Fernando. and jani ,Gundars woow you rock

Had a good run until I had a high speed whack to the trees on SS3. Lost a lot of time backing up and getting the right way again... Love these cars, really starting to enjoy RBR again :) Mark has put up an impressive pace on the EU-session, will be tough to beat him this event I guess.

Flipped the car after 20 seconds of SS4 and cried for help. Still going pretty fast, after 5 stages I am still 2nd in the session... But over a minute behind Mark!

Well this rally started off badly and got steadily worse form there.
Stage 1 "RS Centre has stopped working. Close the program"
That threw me off and it wasn't till stage 6 that I had a good run, stage 7 I was disturbed by my wife:eek: she was standing behind me and I did not know, when she spoke I flew off track just avoided a tree, otherwise that would have be a decent stage aswell.
Stage 8 Harwood Forest, I really like this stage but got a little to confident in a couple of bends nothing major though.
Really enjoyed the Toyota, nice car.:)

My first time in a RWD car. Happy to complete all stages...
At SS1 I found myself in the Mk2 Escort. Dont know why, but this might disqualify me from the event?
However I drove the Toyota for the rest of the stages and from SS4 I started to like it really much. I think the bad conditions at SS7 suited me the best.

SS1: went good for me. Only 16 sec behind the top :)
SS2: Had to call for help one time because I drove full into the ravine... Man I hate it when there is such a deep revine next to me :/
SS3: Had to call for help again after being stuck behind a tree :/
SS4: Went good for me. Drove a lot more careful than the other ones.
SS5: Man I like England more than Australia. Stage went good :)
SS6: Sheperd Shields, my fav stage :) Went good.
SS7: Went very bad. I had no grip at all and everytime I hetted the trottle, I had massife wheelspin :( Had to call for help after being stuck on a tree stump...
SS8: Went good. Good drive and I felt the car better then in the bigin of the rally.

I hope that everyone had such slow starts? :)

Overall it went good. My goal, to finish all stages, is completed :) Thanks for everything Warren :) Can't want for the standings!

Another rally spoiled by a the game minimizing to desktop mid stage and the frustration of losing ~4 minutes as a result. Aside from that it was quite an enjoyable rally and was pleasantly surprised by the feel and stability of the AE86.

To summarize my rally then:

6 okay to good stages, 2 CFH's and 3 spins on the remaining stages. Really an enjoyable car, even thoug it is useless in the wet :p
These cars will hopefully be popular in the RDRC season :)

SS1: RBR minimized before i even got on the stage so i didn't even get to see the start :(
SS2: went pretty good apart from me getting stuck twice so 2 CFH's
SS3: more or less same as SS2 except i rolled instead of getting stuck :D
SS7: got stuck once more so another CFH

Rest of the stages went pretty good and i could see that i got progressively better with the car through the rally(first time in rwd).
Overall i tried to just finish as many stages as i could since i'm still a newbie with a wheel:).
Really enjoyed this car, think i'm gonna be spending a lot more time in rwds:D.

Haven't tried alt+tabbing, but my game is constantly running in window mode. Can't you try it?
No matter what I try can't get it to use windowed mode in online sessions, but like Tomáš I also have no problems using windowed mode in play alone mode. I had a look at the files a couple of weeks ago and something in the game is overwriting the line 'Fullscreen = false' in my RichardBurnsRally.ini every time I go to a stage in an online session (ie automatically setting it to true and forcing me into fullscreen). I'd love how you get it to work Senad.

I'm not sure if this will work, but try this:
In RSCenter, under Settings, 3D Ratio settings, use False.

Many of the RSCenter minimising issues are caused by another background program starting eg. AV update or similar.
I always turn off AV updates etc before running on-line.

What a battle with Jeff in the end in the USX-session! Leading by 2 tenths going into the final stage, loosing it by 2 seconds :p I will have to get up early tomorrow and try one more time in the OC-session :p
