Picture Competition: June 2012

Hello and welcome to the June picture competition! aadilf1 seems to have got lost, so I'll be posting

Rules:

• You may only post one picture (exceptions can be made)
• It must be relevant to the theme.
• Minor editing is allowed (cropping, sharpening/blurring).
• You may only vote for one picture, and you can't vote for yourself.

The theme for this month is Classic Cars as suggested by Alexander Knoll. As usual you do not get extra credit for using CG versions of Racer, no-cg is very welcome. Entry is closed on the 25th of June and any entries on/after this date will not be included. There will then be 7 days of voting, after which the winner will be announced and will feature in an article for the frontpage.

What is an "classic car" for you? I mean, just an old, or a famous car? :=)

both?! I think a car with a history...
For example a Toyota Yaris is not a classic car...

A Mercedes 350 SL is a classic car...

...i hope you can understand what i want to say...

As I see it, if a car is about 25 years old, its a classic, no matter if its a car that was once common, or a high priced rare car.

No Photoshopping, this is straight from Racer (resized down to load quicker).

If time permits I'll try to get the back doors ingame before the end of the month and update this.

Hehe, nice

You should try the FS shader with the DOF too, it works pretty nicely, just tweak values, reload shaders, and get the DOF perfect!
