PrestoGP - Pacific Series season 8 is soon to enter the stage. We are a few days away from opening the sign up list but let's take things one by one. So let's start by going through the ryles and the schedule.

What you do require to have in order to race in PGP-PS:
You will need Race 07, nothing more.

    Signups:
To be eligible to race in this league you need to do the following steps (trust me it will only take you 5 minutes, even less if you follow the steps precisely):

    1) Become a "licensed Member" in Racedepartment. (go here)
    2) Use your real name when racing and using the PrestoGP servers.

Should you fail to show up in 2 consecutive races without notice then it is at the Admin's discretion to issue your place to another competitor wanting to join.

    Race Format:
Each round will have two races, one after another and both will have standing starts. The races will be 25 minute long and will have a mandatory pit stop window for both races and there won't be any reverse grid for race two.

    -1h free practice (not mandatory)
    -10 minute free qualify
    - 5 minute warm up
    - Race One
    - Race Two

    Race Times:
(HEADS UP, the time table is not finalized so expect minor time changes)

Official Free practice starts at 22:00 GMT
Qualify 23:00 GMT (10 minute super pole)
Warm up 23:10 GMT (5 minute warm up)
Race One 23:15 GMT (25 minute race with mandatory pit stop)
Race Two 23:40 GMT (25 minute race with mandatory pit stop)

    Racing Rules:
PrestoGP - Pacific Series is following RD racing rules, meaning that you always need to keep two wheels inside the white lines, etc. Failing to follow this rules will end up in receiving a penalty.

An other rule which I want to make clear is that PGP-PS is not running with mandatory cock-pit view and then we have the mandatory pit stops which mean you need to pit once during the race and change atleast TWO TIRES. (if you don't you will receive a stop and go by the game)

    Car for Season 8:
I would like to present to you this season's car, the Formula 3000. Just like many seasons back, this car is very promising in brining the field closer together and allowing even the drivers who lack experience with open wheel cars or just sim-racing in general to jump into this cars and be fairly competitive from the start.
