not sure if I will be able to race this weekend, slipped three discs in my lumbar, had a CT last night and have been put on some nerve med's that should lower the pain, if they work and I can sit and move my leg I will be there :)

Oh, no good Reinze... Hope you make it next time.

    My Race Report:
Qual - Had a fantastic lap to record a new PB time of 1m46.917, only 7 thousandths slower than David Street who did a 1m46.910 and took Pole. Gaetano Zizzo was right behind me, also very, very close. Similar to last night's F1 qual :)

Race 1 - Made a good start and was looking to push hard past David into T1, but he had the run & I dropped into 2nd place. Gaetano was directly behind me and we had a fierce battle for the lead in the opening laps with quite a bit of paint being traded between us. Extreme racing at it's best!
Somewhere in the mid part of the race David got it wrong on the Ripple exiting the final turn and spun across and it looked as though he may have contact with the wall but I'm not 100% certain. This gave me breathing space and also allowed me to focus on catching Gaetano in the lead. On the very next corner (T1) Gaetano ran wide & I was able to get close and also past him. He fought back and even though I tried to make my car as wide as possible he still managed to get past at the hairpin. Pitstop time came around & I entered pitlane around 3-4 seconds adrift of GZ. I just had to keep the car on track to take 2nd place.

Race 2 - started from 6th & made a pretty good start. I found myself slipping past Noel & once again went into T1 with David next to me. I held my line and pushed to get into 2nd place, but when I turned into T2 David was there & I ended up off track, slipping back to last. I should've stayed wide, but there was no damage so continued on. Entering the fast left of T5 I saw Chris V & Bob L tangle & both went off at high speed. I didn't see how it happened, only the aftermath and that let me back up to 5th place and chasing down Noel.

Can't remember too much of the race from then on but it all went fairly smoothly & I ended up back on the podium in 3rd at the Chequered flag.

After Race 1, I'd lowered my wing which was a huge mistake. I was way slower and couldn't push the car anywhere as hard as Race 1. Oh well, 2nd & a 3rd so some more good points towards my championship standings.

Grats to GZ & David who also scored podiums.

A much better event for me.

Quali: I had a lot of little mistakes, and ended with a very slow 1:48.3 to qualify in 5th.

Race 1: I had a good start, and managed to stay in 5th for a bit, and then capitalized on others mistakes to move up to 3rd. I was leading David in 3rd when I was a bit slow into a corner. David tried to duck inside me, and hit me, knocking me off track back into 6th place. Fortunately there was no damage, so I got back going and pushed hard to make up ground. With some open track, and Bob and Noel tangling, I managed to get back up to 3rd. David was chasing hard and closing slowly in on me right up to the end, but I managed to come home on the podium. :)

Race 2: Started in 6th, and was doing OK, but Bob spun in front of me, so I dodged off the track to avoid another hit the sideways car incident. It put me back at the back again, but with no damage. I followed folks until the pit stips, and then stayed out an extra couple of laps and managed to undercut from 7th to 5th. From there on I was more than 10 sec back from 4th, and more than 8 sec up from 6th, so it was just a matter of cruising home for my first complete race event of the season! :)
