Hey all. My name is Steve and im 41 years young :).

I'm a big motorsports fan especially F1 and ive recently got back into F1 2011 on the xbox 360 but this time around i am planning on taking my experience to the next level by learning how to drive without assists or racing/breaking line rather than having everything turned on like i did before and i am also looking to learn as much as i can about tuning and set-ups too so any tips/info would be gratefully received,

I have also applied for a racing licence here on RD so hopefully i will get to see some of you on the track :)

Hi, I'm Stewart, I'm 30 years of age.

I've actually been a member for a while now, but only recently started getting involved in conversation :)

I'm from Northampton, UK so it's pretty convenient for me when it comes to Motorsport as I've got both Silverstone and Santa Pod just 15 mins drive away :D

Wife-to-be bought me the Ferrari Thrill Day for a birthday a couple of years ago. That's me in my profile pic taking the exit of The Link (southern/international circuit) at full throttle :devilish: The tyres were complaining but my instructor and myself were loving it :D got an A grading afterwards, well chuffed :)

I'm a HUGE F1 fan, to the point where i've usually got several laptop screens with live map, live timings, the race, all on at once ;)

I've always dreamed of getting into Rally and plan on taking a Class B Licence class/exam in the future. I doubt I'll ever accumulate the funds to actually use the licence, but it'll be an experience nonetheless

rig wise, after many emails back and forth with Leo of Omega Racing I'm now sporting his deluxe version, with triple screens. I had to get my own race seat, a Cobra Monaco as i'm a big lad at 16 stone :p but he was very accommodating. cant recommend/plug him enough :D wheel wise i'm sporting a G27 with 300mm momo rally spec wheel and with modified pedals. I'm hoping to save up for the fanatec clubsport, with both wheels shifter and pedals. Lets hope my bets on the F1 can accumulate to the £1000+ i'll need for that! Yikes!

anyways, nice to meet you all and hopefully see you in an RBR Club race soon

    Greetings, all, from South Africa!

Bought F1 2011 GFWL a couple of weeks ago (yes, I know; way behind, but please spare a thought - all good things take a very long time to travel from the Free World to my part of the Universe ...). Being absolutely new and raw to sim racing and not too sharp on PC's either, I have a hard time coming to terms with the interface and bugs/intricacies of the game, not to mention the actual racing (man, I suck!!!). Luckily I found this forum ...

Thank you to the owner(s)/administrator(s)/moderator(s) of this website for the great support you provide to bumholes like me. I must confess: I've been poaching here for some time and learned a lot. Now, down here we shoot poachers (especially if it has to do with rhino horn - and my endeavours in F1 is about as valuable), so I better come clean (of course, there's a hidden agenda - I need plenty of help :notworthy: ).

So here I am. Don't know whether I will ever be good enough to venture onto an online track with you aces, but I'll try. In the meantime I will struggle in Career in the hope that my stupid questions may just perhaps be answered. By all means, shoot me; please just tell me why first! :x3:

Thank you for your kind audience.

    Hello everyone on Racedepartment :)

Soooo. I'm from Denmark and i am 18 years of age. My racing history is not impressive, to be honest, i have no real racing experience what so ever, but i have had f1 2010 for a while now, and just recently bought f1 2011... A Little late, yeah i know!

I must say i am quite excited to start racing with some of you guys, when i get better at racing on 2011 because i have seen some great videos with Steve stoop, Andrew bortz and tomjakes, and you seem to have a lot of fun :)

    Greetings from Jakob

PS: my wheel is MOMO and it doesn't work properly right now, so if anyone knows anything about momo wheels and how to fix them, please click on this link :)

    Good evening!

I've had RACE07 since late last week and I am loving it. It has been my first taste of online racing and, wreckers aside, I can't get enough. I'm on a gamepad at the moment (I know, but I always try to get out of your way...) but there is a gaming wheel in the post as we speak.

I've had my license approved, so I'm looking forward to joining you folks online soon. I like the sound of the DTM race this Sunday, actually, but despite the license I'm not able to post in the appropriate forum for signing up... if anyone has any advice there (I probably missed something) then that would be appreciated..

    Well, happy racing all!
