nKPro racing club proposal/feedback/ideas

Hello everyone

I wanted to divide the cars into three categories, and go with one every week. That way all the cars would be used, not exactly evenly, but close enough. Something like:

Abarth, Vintage
F1600/1800, Osella
F2000/FTarget, KS2

As far as tracks go, was thinking one week default, the next add-on, and so on.
I'm not that familiar with all the add-on tracks available, so if you have one that you'd like to see, or even a car/track combo, I'd be more than happy to give it a go.

Anyway, that's the general idea, post feedback, ideas, suggestions or obscenities below :thanks:

This Tuesday, at Iron, we make one race with an ranked server with no troubles at all. I also think that lowering the damage is a good ideia, but let's see what the new collision model offers.

Also, I didn't see any mention of rain in the changelog :frown:. But if the netcode is up to par, I guess we'll live

Aosta is quite fun, we did it in the Osella earlier today could try that. Or go crazy and use the Nordschleife.

Already posted a Prato race

Haven't had the chance to hook up the wheel yet, so couldn't try the myriad of Aosta versions, Prato was an easy choice. Could easily switch to Aosta, I just wanted a default track. Any particular version?

just my 2cents, but if we never go near Aosta or Newbury again I'll be a happy camper. There are so many more interesting tracks available and yet the public servers are always on the same 4 or so tracks.

I know you have FPS issues with Aosta, what's with Newbury? Dull?

Never dull that place, what with the bumps and the walls. Just been there too often. Aosta is a fps hog, but I have never really got on with any of its 300 configurations. It's like the Abarth, others swear by it; I just swear at it. The new GT at Spa67 is amazing...hint hint.

I wouldn't mind 2 events per week, can't promise I find time to attend both of them every week though, maybe do some stuff differently for the second event? Now that we got a working netcode you could do shorter races with reverse grids for example or something along the lines.

Since I'm posting here already, we did some F1800 at Blackwood GP (which is a legal conversion, yay

) and I can only recommend to have a look at it, we had a great time.

I'd also be interested in more events. Just discovered NK and I'm enjoying it more than other sims atm but finding it difficult to find many structured races. A variety of cars and tracks would be my preference, but nothing too hardcore....that KS2 race last week was a killer :eek:
