F1 2012 New Delhi - India (Dry)

F1 2012 The Game (Codemasters)
| Career and Multiplayer setup! |

Hey guys,
I saw some other setups of you guys, very nice! :)
This one is for the Multiplayer and the race in career of India. (Dry)
- I play always on Legend. 25% races.

Every single detail can better. But this is not a TT setup. so everyone knows that your tires wear out, so maybe is this really fine for people who are don't know how to make a good setup for multiplayer and career. :)

So I know every car in career is different but if you have some trouble with this setup you can improve with some of the settings. Much oversteer? Change your rear anti roll bar. Trouble with top speed? Change your front and rear wing and your gearbox of course. etc.. etc.. :)
So good luck! And hope you like the setup. :D

THIS IS ONLY FOR RACES AND FOR MULTIPLAYER.
I Know if your using a TT setup you will just get stuck with the gearbox, which not give you enough top speed without DRS.

Seems that I'm doing something wrong with the setup from Marmite. I can't get anything close to the times I can get with the setup from Hyperdix. Maybe it's just me because for you guys it seems to work good. :/

I've made 5 laps of each setup posted here and wrote my results and impressions driving a Red Bull in Time Trial. I use the X360 pad and all assists on. All laps were done without using DRS and KERS.

1 – michael_ov: 1:28.582, this one makes the car as fast as can be, but it has a couple of downsides: the rear is unstable, so you have to be careful not to spin, especially on slow corners, and it’s not stable on straights. If you can handle it tho, it’s a great setup.

2 – Marmite (in video): 1:28.684, a good one, not so easy to handle. It tends to lose grip while exiting a turn and sometimes understeers, kerbs may be a danger. It’s stable on straights. Gearbox is perfect in my opinion.

3 – Ryan Littlemore (in video): 1:28.722, great setup, very fast, unstable on straights but not so hard to control.

4 – Tom Endres: 1:28.830, a brilliantly balanced setting, it makes your car very easy to handle. Unstable on straights.

5 – typev3: 1:29.017, a fast setup, the car is unstable on straights and suffers a bit from oversteer.

6 – Dragon_Rider: 1:29.271, the handling feels great, making turning very quick. It’s a pleasure to drive using this setup. Moderate speed and acceleration.

7 – Hyperdix: 1:29.379, very balanced setup, my Red Bull felt really easy to handle.

8 – James Kirk: 1:29.438, very good setup, the car just goes where you want it to go.

9 – kedia990: 1:30.620, not a good one in my opinion, it feels too much similar to a default setup.

Ryan Littlemore and Marmite, please next time copy your setup on the forum instead of just posting the video.

I've made practice sessions to test tyre wear with michael_ov setup, prime tyres last 25/26 laps, soft 9/10.
I qualified 21st on the Marussia with a time of 1:32.921, behind the Caterhams, ahead of HRTs and Timo Glock, who made a time of 1:33.187 and finished 24th.
The 100% race with legend AI in Marussia using michael_ov setting saw me finish 12th, the greatest result so far in career, ahead of Petrov and Glock, all the other cars behind retired. It was a fantastic race for me, the setting is not too much demanding on tyres. You just need to avoid touching the kerb on turn 14 and to corner a bit wide on 15, because on both corners the car may spin.

I was able to squeeze a 1:30:732 on TT with a controller, considerably faster than any other setup I have tried before for 100% races. Thank you very much. However this was with a Williams, maybe other things I could improve possibly?

Notes: This setup is designed for career, taking into account the rules of the Park Ferme have not changed the gearbox because I think the car has a good top speed for race.
