Mini Cooper.

sorry...but for top speed i foung the info about ~140-150 kmh...if you want more top speed, lower the friction from the diff to ~50....
hmm...4 or 5 speed....i found only ratios for 4 speed...or for the 2gen with 6 speed....but not for 5 speed....if some one have ratios for 5 speed please post it here...

EDIT: the site bandit provides, is 4 speed too....so what is right?

EDIT2: i think i use the 3,939er diff and a friction from 50, with that combo i get a top speed of ~160kmh at the end of polish roads...

It is a bit of a whopper of a mini isn't it? I compared it to FSR's M3 & the Lambo, and it looks a trifle large.
It should only have a four speed as Bandit stated.
Wasn't Stecki's mini fairly accurate in it's ini? I thought Mr Whippy had a hand in it as well? Maybe use it for some close to accurate figures for this one?

Thx Alexander for your car.ini !!

I merged your Pacejka with my 'original' car ini values & the hand-braking now feels real. About the rest (gearbox ratio / top speed), I can't get enough fun from it...

I found a freeware tool for the creation of our gearbox ratios, does anyone use it & what do you think of ?

http://www.locost7.info/gearcalc.php

It's quite cool as you can see, you decide 'approximately' your final differential ratios + your gear ratio & you get a cool generated array which indicates the velocity @ the given RPM for each gear....:)

I've used it for the Mini to get some reference....

Here's also what Shift uses to reference all gear ratios + final gear ratio :

Code:
// Common gearbox

For that to actually be useful you need to look in the .cdf file
i.e. for the mp4-12c:
Code:
FinalDriveSetting=29 // indexed into GearFile list
ReverseSetting=0
ForwardGears=7
Gear1Setting=0
Gear2Setting=18
Gear3Setting=30
Gear4Setting=42
Gear5Setting=52
Gear6Setting=56
Gear7Setting=59

LoL Cam I know ! Hehe

I use to mod them & if you compare with the original file, you'll see I added some ratios at the extremes...
Anyway, while talking about gear ratios which are quite important, how about a future Racer GUI which interfaces the whole ?

This is Mini from 1964.
yes i know...i only want to grap some specs...^^

No no no... this is not normal Cooper. Why you show me tuned Mini for Racing?

Look at this:

...sorry for OT...i know the race mini has nothing to do with your's...^^
...do you look at the pic and compared to the vid? :D

...back to toppic....it's curios...i found at ca. 15 differend web sites atm 3 different max. torque for the same car....from 91NM over 95NM to 115NM....lol what is the right?
