Q1 time was 1:31.941, with no DRS and, obviously, no KERS.
It was about 2.5 seconds faster than Glock's best.
It may be quite abusive on the tyres, though.
Might not be that good if you try it without any assist on.

Notes
1.26.355 in qualifying which got me pole, and I only did 2 hotlaps per qualifying session which left my tires fresh for the race start. I pretty much controlled the race except for having Hamilton pass me 5 laps from the end, but since I started the race with a "cautious" fuel load, and ran the full time on Mix 2, I was able to turn to Mix 3, 4 laps from the end, to come back and pass him for the win..

The setup allows pretty aggressive braking, and I didnt tune any of the gears except kicking 7th and 6th out a couple clicks, so these could be tuned to help with certain corner exits.

A better driver could really improve upon my time with this setup.

Loved 2011, but i am having serious problems with the steering on 2012. i just have a cheep microsoft sidewinder wheel but it did me fine for 2011 absolutly no problem. With 2012 i get either massive under steer or very twitchy steering. having tryed most of these setups and still not getting anywhere, am about to give up. can anyone help? maybe i should fork out £180 for a new wheel was thinking Logi G27 but really cant afford it. ALso i think there maybe issues weioth fixing it to my desk, which would mean another £80 for a stand!!! I was so looking forward to 2012 coming out now i wish it had,'nt

Hey, have you tried changing advanced wheel settings? Regarding the twitchiness you are referring, I have a G25/27 and for 2012 I was forced to change "linearity". It makes a big difference, try it out.

Mind that this setup gives you extra front end grip, at the cost of rear end grip. A little more careful on the throttle and don't ride big curbs because you'll slide too much. If you can't avoid curbs - make the ride height higher (Like 2-3).

Also mind that this isn't that good qualifying setup, but more of a race setup. It works well in WET too, just put a little more rear wing (like 6).

Looking for a good race setup. TT doesnt bother me. Its not important.

I have no idea what setups do on this game so could someone help me out in terms of what should be done for an Australian race?

This is my 1st setup, I can set a laptime in practice of 1:30.449 on Primes, but I am loosing 1 second to the rest of the field in the last sector due to having understeer and not knowing how to over come it, I am also struggling to get the Option tyres to work I can not get below a 1:33 ish mark
I am on professional A1 level

Looking for some advice on this one... the best i can pull off are low 1:29s and the car has a little bit of understeer on turns 3,6,9 and 15.

Dude in 2010 they were faaaaaantastic, it worked like magic, changed the game.
In 2011 they meant spin city however lol

And yes, they are back in full force, the car doesn't oversteer no matter what... you might as well take advantage of it.
i must be playing a different game to everyone else coz when i use high front wing and low rear wing i nearly always end up facing the wromg way. can i just ask and hopefully get a reply but is anyone else suffering from loads of glitches with there game ? ie only 1 practice session when you choose long race wkend and full qualifying ? and my weather system is well funky.

Nope, 2012 has just one practice session, because most people skipped P1 and P2 anyway and just worked on their setups in P3, with the highest level of grip.
