Notes: This is the first setup that i post, so, it's pleasure to share that i working during a big time in Time trial..This setup work really nice in race, he safe your tyre well ( change a little bit the Camber Rear for more safe your tyres, ) For TT, take a high brake, it's important, if you don't like cutting corners.. After 5 laps, with using DRS and Kers, it's easy to make 1.24.0. Attack more, and you can easily make a good 1.23.5. My time 1.22.7? I make this time after 2 hours, the time to learn all corners of this nice track. My best lap, is also an "attack maximum lap":D : the purpose of the lap in Time trial (like in qualification), is to still aggressive all the time, don't forget it.
I play with full TC, ABS, and auto gears. Congratulations for nice web site :).

.0.017 slower than Perez, my team mate last year, balls up.

Realised I had set my gears up completely wrong and was not even making 290kph on the strait sections. Still managed a 1-2 with button.
Good start to the season but a terrible set-up of gearbox.

Notes:

This is a race setup, not TT setup.
This lap was set using 2013 DRS regulations, and 2013 tire allocations of Super Softs. Turns out that DRS has a massive effect on lap time and top end speed in this game, coz a high 1:27 is sh*t slow. LOL

I wasn't pushing 100% in this lap, but was still a good one none the less. Could still find another .500 if I really went balls out.

Truly wonderful set up thank you. I currently use the 2013 mod and the True AI mod, so I use the new tyres and have the revised performance also. In Practise just got a 1.26.899 on Primes. No AIDS legend AI

Do you have any more track set-ups for the Lotus using the revised mod?

Glad you like it :)

I'll for sure make some more Lotus setups as I'm starting a GP mode championship with Kimi from Hungary onwards.

Mind that this setup gives you extra front end grip, at the cost of rear end grip. A little more careful on the throttle and don't ride big curbs because you'll slide too much. If you can't avoid curbs - make the ride height higher (Like 2-3).

Also mind that this isn't that good qualifying setup, but more of a race setup. It works well in WET too, just put a little more rear wing

Notes
1.26.355 in qualifying which got me pole, and I only did 2 hotlaps per qualifying session which left my tires fresh for the race start. I pretty much controlled the race except for having Hamilton pass me 5 laps from the end, but since I started the race with a "cautious" fuel load, and ran the full time on Mix 2, I was able to turn to Mix 3, 4 laps from the end, to come back and pass him for the win..

The setup allows pretty aggressive braking, and I didnt tune any of the gears except kicking 7th and 6th out a couple clicks, so these could be tuned to help with certain corner exits.

A better driver could really improve upon my time with this setup.

Works nice with Force India too!

Hey guys, first post. I've been using RD for f1 since 2010 and have always got some nice setups and tweaked them for my driving style. But I have been having an extremely hard time with 12. I have attempted to start a career about five times and end up getting so frustrated that I go back to f1 2011. I feel like the game is so twitches that tou have to baby every corner. I've tried so manu of the setups from this thread that I'm AMAZING at melbourne now when I go back to 2011 lol.

Maybe the problem is that I keep started with marussia, partly because of the 2011 dumb point system. Idon't want to get to my fav team and have to leave becausr of rep.

Any helpful tips? What could I potentially be doing wrong. In legend in 2011 I can put a marussia in the top 8 consistently. In 12 I can't break top 20 in quali.

Or should I wait for 13 and shut up lol.

You are doing nothing wrong. Legend difficulty is simpy much harder in F1 2012 than in previous games. It should be normal that you cannot get a good grid position with Marussia.

Codies are adding one more difficulty level in F1 2013, so legend is probably getting harder :)

Notes

I was looking for a good Setup for the Force India and with every Setup I was good, but not perfect. So I take these Setups and mixed it. I think if you can drive with my Setup and it is a perfect Lap, you can drive a 1:27,600-1:28,300 with options. I take with primes a 1:29,839 and this was very bad. I think l can find round about 1 second but I'm not so good. I Miss breakpoints and so on. Let me know if you try this setup
