GhostSpeed Racing had another positive race in the Formula SimRacing 2014 season at Malaysia. The drivers put in a great effort this weekend and we hope that will continue throughout the season.

World Championship

Since Bahrain GhostSpeed has worked hard to improve on the no points in the World Championship. Unfortunately we couldn't yield points this weekend and it is a real shame; of the hard work the drivers put in. Once again Morgan Morand completed a great race for Netrex and we wish the best to Morgan for the season and beyond. Concerning GhostSpeed, Ville Leppälä had a fantastic qualifying session, who not only got into Q2 but managed to claim 4th beating defending Champion Bono Huis. However, technical issues prevented the Finnish driver from claiming some valuable points in the World Championship. Meanwhile Netherlands driver Mark Aalberts also had technical issues in the Ash Racing car. However, on a lighter side the consistent Australian of Blair Disley managed to claim a strong 12th place and the Italian driver of Eros Masciulli claiming a positive 16th place. Even though GhostSpeed didn’t yield points this weekend, with our strong performance we are hopeful for points in the upcoming races.

Ace Series

The New Zealand driver of Thomas Satherley and Slovakia driver Marek Godek had a great weekend for GhostSpeed. In race 1 the Slovakia driver claimed a solid 6th place with Satherley closely followed behind in 7th place. We were delighted with these results and we really appreciate the efforts of both Satherley and Godek for putting in a great performance for GhostSpeed. In race 2 Satherley once again delivered a strong performance claiming 5th. However, Godek had technical issues meaning he couldn’t complete the same performance in race 1. GhostSpeed had a strong weekend in Ace and we are looking for would for more performances like this.

Pro Series

GhostSpeed had another spectacular race in Pro. The Netherlands driver of Jorrick Boshove clinched another pole position but on this occasion couldn’t obtain another victory. Adrian Falcon, who is a Spanish driver for GhostSpeed, also delivered another strong performance to claim his second 5th place of the season. The two British drivers of James Sadler and Andrew Ford finished 11th and 12th with Ford making his debut in Formula SimRacing Pro series and a strong one to. With James Sadler having an improved performance from Bahrain. Jeroen Kweekel did not participate in this round due to personal commitments.

Overall we are very happy with our performance this weekend. We hope to impress in China and deliver some more strong results. We want to wish every driver and team good luck for China.
