Bug in the game?

    I have the PS3 version of the game and have a question about qualifying in Career mode, I am currently driving for Virgin and during qualification I pass an AI driver and leave him eating dust, how then can that driver post a better lap time than me? I'm not talking hundredths of seconds but 2 or 3 seconds. Is this possible or am I just being dumb?

    In Q and P sessions the times are derived mathematically by the computer, cars you see on track are for "immersive quality" only :(

    No problem. It is a little disappointing, but I guess in the end you are racing the board in P & Q anyways..
