BTCC 2003 mod need help

About 95% of the Vauxhall astra interior is made now

Can you convert the BTCC 2003 mod for Rfactor please?

Well, it's not finished yet

But if this mod is anything like the Super Touring mod, I reckon we could see conversions for GTR2 and RFactor...

Time to think about the sounds. What can we do about that?

I think we could use the Super Touring sounds.
They're very good.
Or maybe Simbin sounds?

We can't use Super Touring sounds, as they're completely different. Simbin sounds would be much more usable.

MG = LACETTI
VX = VECTRA
HONDA = ACCORD 2007
PUG = PUG 308
PROT = BMS

please post your thoughts and try to remember these sounds should come straight from the base games

MG = Lacetti
Possibly but MG was V6 so use BMW 320i sounds.

no dont use the 320i sounds for the MG, its the worst sounding car ever put in a game

MG will have to be a Volvo C30 although the engine note is slightly different, its the closest to the MG V6 out of the lot

These might help for the sounds. Onboard sounds for some of the cars...

All the cars have interiors now except for the Peugeot, (70% finished). I still have to make dashboards, add some small details, and edit some textures to make the cars different. And waiting for the suits and helmets from Pat.
But we are quite close to a beta version of the mod.

Is the Peugeot 406 in the process too, and the Lexus? Or am I being a bit cheeky lol

No, I have to concentrate on on task at a time, so the 2003 cars first.
Then I'm afraid I have to take a little break from modding and play the game a little bit and try to live a normal life for a while
But the Peugeot and the Lexus are on my list, and so are the super touring Volvo 850 and the Vauxhall Cavalier

There are hints of the BMW 320si sounds in the Astra. Notably pit limiter and low engine revs.

I have to choose sounds from Race07 as Marc said, but it's very easy to replace the sounds for those who want it.
Just copy the .aud file from any car you like, rename it and paste in the right car folder.
