Dale Jr. will start from the back due to a practice crash with teammate Jimmie Johnson.

Stewart won the Nationwide series race yesterday for the 4th consecutive year, but his success in those cars has yet to result in a 500 victory.

Current favorite is Kevin Harvick, followed closely by Earhnhardt, Kyle Busch, and Stewart. It follows given the "2-pack" nature of the preliminary races that Harvick's teammate Jeff Burton will probably play a large role.

Longshot choices: JPM, Matt Kenseth, Ryan Newman

So much for the favorite.

That was a nice move to drop down out of his draft in front of Carl at the perfect time. Can't believe he pulled it off. Well done.

Great finish, but not much of a race, to be honest; way too many crashes. I actually like the aerodynamic stuff and "two-car racing" in general, people saw the Nationwide race, where there were huge gaps, and got way too anxious and aggressive...

If the Wood Brothers don't become a force to be reckoned with again after this it would be a shame.
