This track mod alone convinced me of creating an account here to give a rating. I bought Assetto Corsa a couple of weeks ago, and fell in love with it. However, its particular lack of tracks worried me a bit, until I found out there are modded ones as well. And this one, is by far the best track I've downloaded in every single regard. I'm a sucker for old school, fast circuits like the classic versions of Silverstone and Monza that are featured in the game.

A couple of years ago I read an article about the Thomson Road Circuit that was released prior to a Singaporean F1 GP. I never, never expected a little known track like this to make its own way to AC, and even less with this level of quality. It looks like the result of someone travelling to the past with a laser scan - even though I don't really know if the track looked exactly like this, the result is so well done it looks believable.

Please keep supporting this track. There are plenty of track and car mods that were released a long time ago and never got updated, and this gem is just too good to be lost.

I live close to this track. It brought so much memories of the racing back in late 60s/early 70s. Thank you! The roads that made up this track are still there.

The track has a great atmosphere with wonderful attention to detail. The surface is nicely detailed and convincing. Wonderful job and a must have in your collection.

How did I miss this release! top quality work, everything looks so good it feels like official content or even better. The track flow is so good, this is becoming one of my favorite circuits.

Thanks very much! I had so much fun racing your Honda around this track whilst I was making it (I probably would have completed it a few week's earlier if it wasn't for your S800 RSC). The fact that it was raced, and held the lap record in class, at Thomson Road made it all the more addictive :)

I've already posted so I guess this makes it ten stars.
But I really wanted to endorse the comments from Graham Botha. I used to love the modern Kyalami circuit in rFactor and have been hoping for an AC version. The old track is also high on my list of favourite tracks.

When I saw Fat-Alfie "updated" this track, first thought was "how could he make this any better". Well, night & rain (I never realized any of the other updates were even a problem! :) Still the wonderful track it's always been, and now more can enjoy same race, hope my PC has the oomph.

Fat-Alfie's tracks all have something different and special about them. This one is a classic race track with a twist - a very long twist that goes left, right, left, right... It's a great challenge to get the rhythm down and to make an overtake stick through the "Snakes". The track is also drivable in the dark but don't think the lamp posts are your friends. They are not.

Just one of the best historical tracks for AC. The level of detail is amazing while the game runs as smooth as always. The track has a lot of details around and is a thrill to drive with historic low downforce cars. Download this, and thanks to Fat-Alfie for this. I had and will have a lot of fun on this track, and I'm obviously not alone.

I agree - I think this track was made for high (or even low) power and low down force cars. I have some of the best races in the Honda S800RSC (which was raced at TR) or the Alfa Romeo GTA (also raced there IRL) :-)

This track plus a few others that were recently updated are all topnotch and are very welcomed in AC.

What can I say that havent already been said? Amazing track in every aspects. Gorgeous, amazing ambiance, superb ffb details. It put a huge grin in my face at my first turn 1 jump :) Lotus 49 there is pure sim racing heaven. Congrats and thanks a bunch
