Ruf RT35 version 1.20

Ruf RT35 and RT35s

    This is Ruf RT35 and Ruf RT35S: 4WD and RWD, flat6, turbo-charged, PDK versions. Both models are based on the Ruf RGT8 by Slightly Mad Studios. All models, textures and sounds by SMS except the orange gt3rs texture (by me).
    The RT35S has the wing donated by Ruf RT12.
    Both cars have brand new physics designed by JDougNY and myself.

    UPDATE 1.20: COMPATIBILITY WITH GAME VERSION 10.3 + HUGE PHYSICS REWRITE!

    For version 1.20 JDougNY has completely rewritten physics and
    RT35 is now 4WD
    RT35S RWD.


    Installation instructions* for game version 10.3:
    1. After extracting the archive move the MODS folder to your Project Cars directory
    1.1 There are 2 versions of the vehicle: 32bit and 64bit. If you launch the game from pCARS.exe then use the 32bit ver, and if pCARS64.exe then use the 64 bit variant.
    2. Use JSGME to activate the mod (either 32bit or 64bit)
    3. Navigate to SteamApps\common\pCars directory and check if you already have mods.txt file.

    If you do then:
    a. Open it in text editor and add the following lines at the end of the file:
    Vehicles\RUF_RT35\RUF_RT35.crd
    :tyres: "Pirelli PZero Corsa-Med" "Pirelli PZero Corsa-Med-Rear" "Pirelli PZero-All Weather" "Pirelli PZero-All Weather-Rear" "Pirelli PZero Trofeo-Soft" "Pirelli PZero Trofeo-Soft-Rear"

    If you do not, then copy the mods.txt file provided in the archive and paste it in this directory.

    *If you are updating the mod then prior to activating the new version deactivate the previous version using JSGME (open JSGME, highlight the mod in the right side pane and use arrow button in the center to deactivate the mod)

    By the way, you mod is great. Just a little bug when the car is on "N" gear, and you accelerate. Sometimes, the pedal stay pushed, and evidently : "Engine Failure".

      Thanks for the screencaps: they look great. I will definitely use them in an update.
      Will see what can be done about the engine failure. For now stay in 1st gear and keep handbrake on; once the lights go green, release the handbrake and off you go ;)

    Cool Mod :) Could you please chance the pictures of the cars in the Menu to SMS-Style? I think you could make them on the Mojave Track. Greetings from Germany

      thanks. Any chance you could take them? I would include them in an update. One thing, though: the one visual difference between rt35 cars and rgt8 is the rear end (wing/no wing) so I reckon this should be featured.
