Great soundmod! good work and original as it can.
really good. but is it normal that I hear a V8 in the high RPM load on the outside view? and in the mid-low rpm coast still on outside view?
Better than ever!
Excellent Work !
Thank you for this awsome Sound- Mod
One of the best sound mods out there! Cockpit and hood cam sound is stunning! External sound needs a bit more work but 99% of people drive with cockpit cam so it's not that big deal. Keep up the good work!
Getting better and better. Keep up The Good Work.
i'm using this mod sice it was in version 0.1 and it was amazing there but now this is getting better every time i update it, good job!!! this mod is a must have....
I've been along with this mod since day one and witness you skills as a sound modder grow as you've been chipping away at this so for that alone it's worth 5 stars IMO

I still think the V3 Internals were the best personally, the current ones are great and refined but the more bass makes it seem
muffled to me so maybe alittle reduction to bring the treble up?
The downshift samples are awesome though but I do get clipping at times with cockpit inturnal and hood 'internal'.

The hood/bumper cam I in a way prefer over internal with V0.5 (Probably because I'm use to watching the IMSA feed and it seems those are the samples you used for that sound?)

The externals are great but probably have abit more refinement to go

Those are my findings anyway, just trying to give you some constructive feedback :)

Thanks for your feedback!

Yes you are correct I used IMSA samples :)
congratulations, this is a handsome job! the internals are done (for me lol) and the externals are near perfect (it misses some rawness for my taste). i see you have passion for this car as i am=)
Hands down one of the best sound mods i have experienced! i use this car alot more now just to here that rawness..great job mate..Can you please look into put this kind of work into making some new sounds for the V8SCorsa mod ;)
with a somewhat realistic level of sound(usb helmet with volume to the max), it's just like the real one from what I heard at the 24h of Le Mans :D now, we just need the new exhaust version :)
hey,
thanks for the work, the sound is just amazing.
but when downshifting, the sound is clipping very much, and not sound smooth.
anyone alse got this problem?

thx

hi, thanks for your review and i'm glad you like the sound :)
Someone else did speak to me about this issue and I was able to recreate it. it seems the triggers I've put in to the sound.bank are a little too much for it to handle when you downshift really early. perhaps downshifting later in the braking zone will help with this. i'm looking into a way to fix this without having a negative effect on the sound :)

First off, excellent sound, overall. Given that this is your first sound mod, it really deserves 5 stars, but then my constructive criticism below wouldn't be worth as much :)

Internal : Good balance of intake bellow, exhaust wail, mechanical noise, driveline quivver and deceleration. The quality and choices of your samples is excellent. I can hear some slight sample overlapping around 3/4 of the rev range, but it is only slight. Pitch phasing is mostly smooth and not too apparent, and each layer remains well separated both on headphones and analog 5.1 speakers. The car sounds as aggressive decelerating from 30 mph as it does under full load down barreling down a straight, which can seem odd at times. Idle loop is a little incongruous with the otherwise excellent driving sound. I found myself over-braking just to bang more downshifts.

I would recommend the following as improvements :
1)more mid-high samples to reduce overlapping and pitch phasing effects, creating a more natural transition.
2) Please add road and wind noise. Only a handful of mods feature this, the updated NSX is one of them. The immersion bonus is massive when you can hear the rumble of road, rubber and air around the car.
3) Although already energizing as it is, this mod could use even a little more gain at higher rpm, especially prior to shift points. Maybe even a bit of saturation/distortion into the redline to make things sound crazy before upshifting.
4) Upshift clunks would increase enjoyment and compliment the driveline quivver/lash.
5) A rev limiter that operates on ignition cut vs fuel cut (louder, more aggressive and more habitual on race cars)

External sounds:

Samples are great. Decel is way too silent at all rpms. High-strung NA engines are extremely loud when decompressing, and with 500 bhp from 4.0 liters and no mufflers, this thing should be rasping and clearing it's throat off throttle at high-rpm. Take a listen to NeverKrash's 599xx sound mod as inspiration. The internal downshifts are way too satisfying to not be reflected on the outside.

Overall, very much worth downloading and enjoying! Extremely impressed that this is your first sound mod as it is genuinely good and exciting. I hope my feedback was helpful and keep the updates coming!
