Niko's 2017 Dream Season Database - for Kris 2016 Mod

    Version 2.0

    Scuderia Ferrari
    Tier 1
    Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Räikkönen

After closing the gap to Mercedes on 2015, Ferrari ended 2016 only as the third better team behind Red Bull and Mercedes. However, the new regulations for 2017 have given a new opportunity to Maranello guys to prove they can be in the contendership for the championship. They worked hard at the factory and developed a master car. Can this be the return to glory for Il Cavallino Rampante?

    Red Bull Racing
    Tier 1
    Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen
At 2016, Red Bull took a step on the right direction and ended the season with the second fastest car. As Ferrari, they find refugee in the new regulations for 2017, and adapted very well to all the changes. Daniel and Max know they are the best drivers on the grid, and they are hungry for victories. Ricciardo vs. Vettel rivalry has now a second chapter, this time not only for pride, but for the World Driver's Championship. Raikkonen and Verstappen follow them very closely. Milton Keynes wants some new trophies!

    Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 Team
    Tier 1
    Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg
What happened, Mercedes? They won 2014, 2015 and 2016 Constructor Championships so easily, surely they are going to win 2017 with no problems, aren't they? Well, they are not. Yes, they adapt the car to new regulations but somehow don't find as much pace as Ferrari and Red Bull did. German direction has proven not to be perfect. Now Lewis and Nico will have to fight hard to achieve wins. Is it still funny when you are not winning?
    McLaren Honda F1 Team
    Tier 1
    Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne
So, Jenson Button just retired and left the door open to a hungry belgian who doesn't care who his teammate is, he is here just to win. Finally, McLaren-Honda association starts to work and they can together produce a car that is capable to fight for podiums and eventually wins. They won't be world champions this season, sure, but things are looking great. Can Alonso get back his enjoy feeling from this modern F1 and keep working to be world champion for last time? Or will his rookie teammate stole the chance?
    Renault Sport F1 Team
    Tier 2
    Kevin Magnussen and Daniil Kvyat
Last season Renault competed with a car that was not theirs, because it was developed mainly by Lotus. Jolyon Palmer is not what the team wanted so they ended his contract after just one season. The replacement? A russian torpedo who just ended his contract with Toro Rosso, and refused to stay there after the treatment the team gave to him last season. Daniil Kvyat has a second chance to prove himself he is one of the best, and looks like he made the right decision as Renault improves his performance dramatically during winter break.
    Sahara Force India F1 Team
    Tier 2
    Sergio Pérez and Nico Hülkenberg
After finishing 2016 on a fantastic fashion, the team managed to retain both their drivers for one more season. However, they are lacking money a lot, so unfortunately they lost their position as the 4th best car on the grid. No matter what, they still make wonders with a reduce budget. Can they beat Renault for 5th on the standings?

    Williams Martini Racing
    Tier 2
    Valtteri Bottas and Lance Stroll
Felipe Massa retired after many years on the sport, and he is a happy man. His replacement...is Lance Stroll, a 17 years old Canadian boy who comes direct from the Formula 3 European Championship, where he was crowned champion. He wants to break Verstappen's records, but Williams gives him just an ordinary car. How many points can he score on his rookie season?

    Scuderia Toro Rosso
    Tier 2
    Carlos Sainz and Pierre Gasly
As said before, Daniil Kvyat left on bad terms Red Bull, and joined Renault. His replacement is a well known guy from the Red Bull Academy, the 20 years old French man Pierre Gasly, who just won GP2 Series last year. He finds a though teammate in Carlos Sainz. Also, Toro Rosso returns to Renault engines this season, after their short affair with Ferrari at 2016. Where will the little bull end on 2017?
    Haas F1 Team
    Tier 3
    Romain Grosjean and Charles Leclerc
After they stunishing debut season, Haas is trying to win experience on the pinnacle of motorsports. Esteban Gutiérrez's performance last season wasn't enough for them. They found in Charles Leclerc a good replacement. Can the monagesque beat his experimented teammate on his rookie season?

    Manor Racing MRT
    Tier 3
    Pascal Wehrlein and Alexander Rossi
Backmarkers teams have improved quite a bit on this new era of Formula One. Esteban Ocon finishes 2016 and moves to Renault as a reserve driver. The replacement is no more and no less than the 2016 Indy 500 winner, the american Alexander Rossi who returns to the team for a second chance at F1. Now that both teams are closer to the leaders, can they defeat Sauber again?

    Sauber F1 Team
    Tier 3
    Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson
Sauber is still filled with problems from all sides, specially economics ones. They managed to retain both Felipe Nasr and Marcus Ericsson that bring a lot of necessary incomes to the team. The objective is simple, try not to be the worst team for two consecutive years. Can they do it?

Thank you! The true is that I don't know anything about 'photoshoping' pictures. I will either learn or talk to someone who knows how to do it. If anyone is interested, just contact me or upload it to RD as an add-on for this mod, and I can put it here in the "requirements and recommendations" part of this post. ^^
