Well, after using the last version as a template on improving the AI, the the way they went into corners, making them go faster in bends, i have tweaked the files even more.

What started as a Losail Challenge has now extended to the rest of the tracks with even faster record breaking laps. Even at Losail which I didnt think possible.

Initially the lap record for Losail was 1.55.527.
The 1st version of the mod took it down to 1:52.226.
Now this version has taken it to 1.50.983.

Apart from really pushing it, There are now a lot less crashes, its much more stable, almost like clock work. Iv tested all the tracks to a certain extent and i hope its meets its expectations.

All this only affects the CPU/AI, hence the title

Ai behavior Mod. Losail Challenge: Physics UnTouched : MotoGP 15

After many hours of testing and modding i wanted as a challenge to change the Ai behavior so they are more aggressive and faster as opposed to the routinal ai where one rider goes after another in a nice neat fashion.

I wanted to do this respecting the original Physics of the devs without changing a single value on the bike or on the tracks Parameters. Nor have I touched the riders performance, these all have the original values. What has been changed is the general AI behavior towards bends thus being more aggresive. Imo I think the bikes are pretty well balanced with the tracks trajectory as a whole, I think they did an amazing job because the same ai applies to all the tracks. This of course leaves gap for improvement but on a specific track level.


The track I’m working on to tune this is Losail. The tracks record by the ai was originally 1:55. I have been able to take it down to 1:52.226, I hope this offers some kind of challenge for some of you and you enjoy it. Because the AI affects all the tracks so you might find the ai is faster in some tracks; however on others you will see that they crash (sachsenring for example). I have only thoroughly tested and taken to the limit in Losail, hence the title.

Please bear in mind though, that to take it down a few seconds’ means sacrificing certain aspects like the tidy line of riders that I mentioned earlier to a more random race, and yes, because they go faster and risk more, there will be accidents. I in no way am trying replicate reality, whatever that means. The point of this Mods is to favor the 1st non human rider. The rest, when in a large group, may barge into one another a little due to their speeds and aggressive behavior to get in position, however I have tried to reduce this. But I couldn’t take it down as much as I wanted since the lap timming increased. Take into account that the default ai is programmed to follow a line and to not bother another rider. This mod makes them faster, less predictable. Try and see the racing mod similar to online racing with 12+ people and the collisions on. You certainly expect to see players charging into each other in the first bend at least…

I have had fun with this mod watching some replays in the last laps where it’s the AI vs AI for the 1st position with the pushs and pulls.

If you try it, I’d like to hear on your usual average lap records/ and bike used. And if its still is not a challenge try slower bikes, increase TCS etc.. maybe it adjusts to your level. I have tested on the PRO level and ai at its highest level., which is only why you originally would be interested in this mod… I think…

Other notes . I have also thought of improving the performance of the riders, since that affects their braking abilities, the speeds in the mod really pushes these bikes however I really wanted to see how far I could go only modifying the AI behavior.
