Loving it. Thanks for a great track!
Thank you for developing this track, truly awsome mod!!
Awesome work on the track, but how about some 3d grass to add that final polish ?

Thanks. Trust me there is plenty of final polishing to be done besides vertical grass. Also I'm not sure if I'll be adding 3D grass for the lawn. It is very eavenly cut and low IRL. Also not sure if I could keep stipes looking well. I will be adding 3D grass where there is weeds 10-30cm tall. About very low 3D grass where the lawn is - probably will experiment on it.
@mantasisg,

Really nice work dude, I used to work for a classic race team and we ran multiple cars for 12 consecutive years at the revival .. we regally won the Sussex trophy and achieved our goal of winning the TT with a Ferrari after 10 years of trying .... so i know this circuit well and just how dangerous it can be. There are never any small accidents at Goodwood ....

I've been lucky enough to drive various cars around the circuit during the revival (demo laps .. etc) including the Innes Ireland Ferrari 250 GTO so i remember just how fast and bumpy the circuit is in real life.

This is the first simulated version of Goodwood that feels right .... so well done for all your hard work, i've been driving the fantastic Ginetta Supercup 2017 mod car around it which is well suited to this circuit ... and its been fantastic fun and brought back a lot of great (and not so great) memories of this awsome British circuit.

With regards to the Wet Version ... might i suggest a fun alternative as AC does not really do Wet that well..

During the revival weekend the TT always took place at around 3PM on the Sunday .... after almost four days of historic and classic cars dumping all sorts of fluids on the track it was always in an awful condition, very greasy with lots of chalk dust everywhere which made the TT even more of a challenge. So how about evolving the wet version to simulate something like that .... could make for some spectacular online TT races.

Thanks for all your Hard work .. looking forward to seeing how this evolves even further.

Cheers
Jay
Just tried a few laps with the Ferrari 312/67, feels amazing !
Thx
There's a way to give you 200 stars?! Totally LOVE this track, the WET one is the best track ever too. Love to slide around on it and try to keep the car under control. Many many thanks for your hard work :)

Thanks. Good words tops everything :)

Glad that you find wet version entertaining, I hope you noticed that there is more grip outside normal racing line :)
Great version of this track. Lot of fun with vintage cars. Thanks mate!
Six stars for you :D
Thank you !!
very good , i like goodwood and goodbumps thank you.
FANTASTIC!!! THANK YOU!!! ;-/)
Brilliant.
6 stars from me too - best version by a country mile.
Some vintage aircraft on the strip and it would be like being at the Revival.
Incidentally having been there for the Revival I agree the 2d grass looks right.

Finally got around to test this again. Seems like you go the bumps under control, good to see, or rather feel, nice playground for all sorts of cars. Scenery is beautiful and just well compositioned, and well "shadered" according to my testing with numerous weather from the G&B Weather mod. Wet version is a funny gimmick but nothing I would try real races on, C lacks real rain simulation for that.

This is one of those tracks that needs 6 stars for being scratch made

Wow, amazing, I really like stars - and six of them, thats the best ! :D But seriously thats one of the best reviews ever, because I had you in mind when I was doing a bit of smoothing in few segments. I thought that you will not like it anyway, because you are most likely into stiff modern racing cars, judging from your mod cars. And bumps will still be there, just a little smaller at few places. I think a few bumps in particular places still could go smaller. But i also think that it is drivable enough, and that you approve it is very important to me. I might still do slight smoothing. But I'm happy to keep authentic mesh, and that I will not have to do compromises :)

Yeah wet track could not meet some. I like to race AI there though. Definitely good practice for car control. And definitely not too slippery. Well perhaps under 90km/h it is too slippery, but above should do. Thats just for fun and placebo. I hope you didn't forgot to look for grip off the normal racing line :)
Simply amazing! 5* for sure
Thanks for bringing this great track to AC. Excellent work, much appreciated!
Well done! It has the look and feel of a genuine vintage artifact. The Lola T70 Spyder seems right at home there, and does surprisingly well over the bumps. (Of course, pre-aero, suspensions had a lot more compliance.) It's a little dark and I too wish it had 3D grass and some more telling detail, but all in all, a welcome addition to the world of historic racing.

Thank you for review :) Maybe it could be a little bit dark.. I have darkened tarmac for this version just a little bit. Perhaps grass could be a tiny bit brighter. As for 3D gras, I'm not sure. It adds depth, but it would break striped lawn effect, I think. Lawn in Goodwood is mostly perfectly cut, I much rather would love to use some NormalMaps detail to get more of that look, but I don't think there is a shader which would allow me to use two normal maps. Normals map is a texture for graphics engine which makes flat surfaces look like they are bumpy.
Awesome Great job. Can we get Goodwood hill climb( Festival of Speed) too. Thanks again for all your hard work.
