Brilliant job. Dirt Rally live's again. Now please do the same with Dirt 4. But too bad that game doesnt save anymore?

Thank you! DiRT 4 file structure and encrypted memory data doesn't allow us to progress deeper at the code (At the moment). About save data, you're right. When modified files are introduced into the tittle directory, the system disables this feature. Thanks again.

Only thing I dislike about this is the jumping physics. When the car's landing, it's a weird feeling if the car was about to fly up in a moment. I even sometimes get weird damage. Annyoingly weird.
Besides that, I find it perfect, FFB is much more natural and I can actually feel what's car going to do.

If you mod the tittle, you will not be able to save your progress anymore. Its simple as that. COnfigure all your input with original installation. After you save, apply the mod. Thank you.

I've been playing this for a few months now and it's brilliant, the cars are more controllable and much better at communicating what they're doing. Great work and I'm looking forward to your next update whenever that may be. One question, are the group N cars running on some sort of studless tire in the snow? I noticed that they are very very low grip.

Thanks for your message! Talking about N4 cars, they are using original tires (Studed). That was one of the physical department we wish fine tune when we where deep into the development of the 0.5 version but sadly, the mod development its actually stoped. Thanks for understanding.

Such a low rating only because the mod is still crashing Dirt Rally for me. By default Dirt Rally is still too arcadish it has too much grip in most cases which makes it harder to predict car behavior and flow properly through a stage. This mod is fixing that, cars feels more natural. However , IMO it is still slightly overdone, for example on snow or wet gravel. I have 5 stars reserved for this mod when I'll be able to continuously play it without game crashing.

Love to mod guys, feels awesome! I have a little problem though because as soon as i install it my save files don't seem to be updating anymore. If i do a few rallies, save and quit the game then go back it reverts back to where it was before i installed the mod. :(

This is garbage. Should be called Drift Rally. Download only if you're looking for a crazy drift game. It's not realistic in any aspect even though authors claim that they're "studying physics, dynamics and overall performance of a rally car". Trust me, I've been playing sims for years and this is the opposite of realistic.
    1. E.Zelaieta
      Author's Response
Thanks for sharing your point of view. It's respectable but you cant confirm to the rest of the users to trust you because your experience on sim racing. Based on your rules, my personal opinion should be the definitive veredict because I have more than 15 years of experience in sim racing department and more than 10 years on real life motorsports (Which include rallying). In my personal opinion, that's not how it works. Share your point of view with constructive and helpfull feedback and we will be happy to know your opinion and like always try to improve in future. Thanks for understanding.

What do you mean about VAC ban? This ban only affect in DIrt Rally? Or affect ALL steam games
    1. E.Zelaieta
      Author's Response
VAC is the anticheat system developed by Valve. It's available and working on selected tittles which integrates but daily, the list is increasing. Thank you.

I gave a few tries in this mod, and honestly i am amazed. But i have one small problem. I dont know if an bug, but in career mode,gr.b awd, on germany's flugzeugring reverse(sorry if this is confusing haha) at the 5th turn the game just crashes. It freezes and it crashes. Every single time. can this be a bug?
    1. E.Zelaieta
      Author's Response
Thanks you for the review. It should be. We really dont try all the stages with all the vehicle conbination posible becouse its so time consuming. We only tested in single stage mode, not in career. Thank you.

Love it! I always reverted back to RBR because I didn't like the way Dirt Rally drove, but this is a very welcome improvement. Weight transfer is now actually a thing and the driving is feeling way better. And that is very impressive for version 0.4. Very excited for future updates!

    1. E.Zelaieta
      Author's Response
It's something related with 32 & 64 bits DLL's structure. Try installing latest " Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Packages" and I've not working, try to paste the error on Google to see what suggest. For the next time, please use support forum for problems and throubleshooting. Thank you.

Excellent mod. Improves the realistic behavior, tested on gravel with the BMW E30 (80 'RWD) and GROUP B. As an amateur player, I notice that closely resembles Richard Burns Rally but the big difference I find is the feeling of swinging, exchanging weights.

Amazing! But not ideal. Still mechanical grip is too high, even in group b car on gravel its not enough easy to POWERslide. With this cars was very hard to stay on road and not skid, beacuse of the engine power, but in this mod its very easy, even if you simulate group b cars with modern tyres.
