    • Updated terrain textures with google map image for a more realistic looking grass
    • Added new more realistic lighting around the track
    • added various new textures around track (for eg striped barriers to bring inline with current look, new road details, crowds, etc etc etc)
    • Added both oval and road course layouts
    • Brand new AI lines
    • Dynamic groove inc oval
    • Added new surrounding building and city skyline panorama for more presence
    • Reduced materials as much as possible for a little more performance
    • Crowds and race-day objects can be removed by lowering world detail to high for a track day vibe or just a little more performance
    • New physical mesh
    PLEASE NOTE : the issue with the barriers on the banks still persists, trust me we have tried everything to solve this issue and there are 100% no holes in the mesh, and from a lot of testing and experimentation we have determined that most problems are caused by mod cars and only at high speeds and more often than not head on collisions with the walls on the banks, as their collision meshes are often done different from default cars, kunos cars seem fine from my testing. Not Perfect but to be honest if you were to clip the walls at that speed IRL your race would be over for sure

    Will add 3D Grass in future if needed..

    Here's why low rating. The mesh on the infield is drastically more bumpy than real life as this section has been improved since the improvements to the real track in 2013-2015. This included smoothing out the infield for the IMSA 24hr and CTSC. The imagery is substandard. While this doesn't need to be high the graphics seem very washed out and it seems like I went back to GTR2's version. The disappointing parts have been that the updates to the track since 2003 era have not been included like the Tire walls in the bus-stop and other areas. It's like the track should be renamed Daytona 2003 instead of 2017. Also lighting is only on with the NASCAR turns? Why are they on and the infield, MerryGoRound and other lighting but not here? 3 out of 5 for not being picky or an elitist, but for loss of immersion value since I'm a fan of Daytona and have watched Daytona live many times. My suggestion, improve your mesh for the Oval, smooth out infield to start, and if you're going to have lighting, have it consistent all around the track then in a "couple parts. Also actually watch a REAL race there so you can improve the quality or realism factor. While I did a Rip version of this, I was hoping that that would have been at least some inspiration of making it closer to the real thing. Watch a race there and you will see what's really missing. most of the stars were for the effort, "A" for effort, "D" for execution.

    Thank you so much for bringing one of my favourite tracks to Assetto. And thanks to improve your incredible work further. Hopefully there is a chance to add 3D grass in the future. Sorry but I´m a graphics junkie ;-)

    Great track :-) Just one little snag hence only 4 stars. Once that is addressed I will revisit the rating to 5 stars.

    There are track holes on the top of the banking curves of the oval layout. Should you hit the barrier, you fly off the track into infinity.

    3d grass and a little more optimisation to come. Though not sure how much smoother we van get it. Being a conversion and all that. Glad you guys are enjoying. The physics mesh makes a hugh difference imo.
