I love the track and appreciate all the hard work, however can anyone explain why the AI wreck out on tire bundles in turn 1 & 2.

Yes!!! This is one of my favourite tracks since rF2 and it feels really nice in AC! This version is in a top shape! Only one thing: Everytime i see a new track in RD and only a reallife photo is representing it, i have mixed feelings about the quality. Your work is top notch and look really good, so why not show a actual AC screenshot here.
