I was struggling with a custom skin of Cobra, and the logo (although the official one) on the steering wheel I considered really bad.

I didn't understand what you mean.
But if it is the silver outline that you see on the outside of the handle, isn't a bug, but simply the steering plate on which is mounted the wooden handle ..
