It's getting better with every update. The initial release was not very impressive but now it's a different story.
I auditioned and have great cars fitted seamlessly between them, but there are only 21 and one of them is hanging above the podium in the building. It is he that is in one of the 2 zones ........ pit wall has accepted the first well to be next to a wall instead of box ... the second wall was left on top of building. If you get it down perfect and will be 21 cars, it would take place only after the last 22 there's room to spare and below 23 for the SC
Work great friend, great to get the pits and put them to work.
I look forward to 1.5 with 23 cars lined up in place lol, great great you are !!
This conversion is an excellent reproduction model of this circuit, but the lack of the chicane in the circuit which is an integral part of the circuit itself, is a big minus for this play ... is a real shame = (
This has got a lot of potential! So far so good, if you want the perfectly polished product then its worth waiting for later versions.

Dpeters95 I hope you don't drop the project at any point, the only complaints I have so far is a weird yellow flag error in the middle sector. I think it could be for a car on the roof in pits. Otherwise it feels very whitewashed. Baku is a sandy brown color. I also found I could set laps (In a Formula Renault 3.5) about 6 seconds quicker a lap at 100% AI, Not sure how this could be improved although they seemed to take odd lines. Once you have those few things down pat this will be an amazing final effort! Keen to follow its developments and willing to help you test if I can!
Hi, I have been trying all your version, the first one was not enjoyable because it was too bright, but it is just getting better and better. Today it was the track i enjoy the most. I like street circuit and with that brightness fix this track is totally enjoyable. Thanks for your conversion and those update are coming 1 after another. Keep the good work.
I might give that a try! I was trying to keep the pit spaces lined up in front of the stalls because I thought everyone would complain that it didn't look right doing as you suggested ;-D

We are here to simulate or to see cartoons of colors and Hollywood movies ??? ... I would rather have 23 slots to compete really to have only 13 because they are very nice aligned to their mechanics.

We are here to race my friend! Please check out the latest version.
Wow its getting better and better great job! Thanks for not giving up!
what conversion tool are you using?
and maybe a filter would help

I use 3DSimED3 and I do edit the shader values which enable me to lighten and darken textures. The biggest problem is that the original author of the RF2 track used the same textures in numerous areas under many different lighting and mounting conditions (some have thin backboards some have light blocking walls) which can get you bright textures in some areas and very dark textures in another and they are the same texture! I think the latest version 1.4 is the best balance I can achieve visually.
Thank you for your efforts. The track is improving since the first version you gave us. Keep going, you'll do great
Good start. Reminds me of Rouen, which started awful but has become an amazing circuit. The foundation is there, keep going. We could end up with a perfect Baku circuit!

getting better and better, thank you all
I am happy to have been the 1st to trust your work.
Where they are all those that only now did complain about the first day?
Thank you for your improved graphics and textures.
I encourage you to try increasing pit spaces. It is easy if you put your mind.
I have gone through the pit lane and I had the capacity for 10 more pit.
Before the 1st pit there is room for 2
between 5th and 6th I remember there room for another.
before the last pit there is space for 3
at the end after the last pit there is room for more than 3 and 1 would remain very close to the starting line but it would be the one used by safety so there would be no problem.
No matter that no box of the chart, look at these spaces you please comment and possible Haras use your circuit for realistic F1 championships with all the grill.
Thanks again for your hard work, keep it up

Good track, but i don't regonise Baku :(
Need more work ;)
Many thanks for your efforts!
Thanks!
Hey great improvement thanks! track surface needs a bit of work and the castle section looks wrong but otherwise thanks.

dpeters95
Thanks! Yeah, I know about the surface and I will get to it. I am currently trying to expand the number of pit positions for the next update. I might be able to include a new track surface though ;-)
first I agree 100% with Fanapryde. second thanks for the trying but I cant rate the trying with 5 stars and dont give up, I rate the circuit dont hate us. and sorry for my bad english i use google translate
First of all thank you for brigning a new track to AC. Don't let bad comments stop you from trying, I will keep your track hoping for upgrades. After all it can only be better. Texture and light (overexposure) are mainly to improve and will realy enhance the driving experience. Keep at it and thanks again.
It is true that there is much work for improvement in this conversion.
But I thank you for the work done. At least you've taken the trouble to do .... a new F1 circuit and yet no one had taken the inconvenience, so thanks for your work.
The problem of exposure is a problem of textures and lighting of the sun, and where you position yourself. With a little dedication of hours that you can correct, that Overexposure and asphalt textures and shadows.
But at least we can run in Baku would be appreciated though that had the actual number of pits to complete the entire F1 grid.
Sorry for my google translation of the English and thank you very much. I encourage you to continue mejorandolo starting with the number of pits in 23 for the 22 F1 safety car more.

Thank you. I realize it's not up to "Assetto Corsa" standards but as I said, I did not create this course. I simply grew tired of waiting for someone to develop this course that I thought I would try to learn how to convert an existing course (like it or not, this was the best version I could find) over for our use in AC. I did not replace any existing textures or add pit lane positions or change the exposure basically because I have just started and don't know how. I was anticipating posting the course and then learning some ways to gradually improve the course with "constructive" input from others. Instead, I just got, "your track sucks". Not very helpful. I will try to see if I can add more pit Lane positions. I just don't know if there is enough room without redesigning the whole building which is definitely above my current ability level ;-D
I'll give you one star for trying to bring the track to us. But it is just horrible.
And I don't know if I am the only one having it extra super overexposed ? It is almost as if a nuclear bomb just went off.
Anyway, I removed it after less than one lap. Waiting for something decent.
Thanks for trying anyway ;-)

Yes, I noticed the high contrast also when I first tried the track in RF2. I wasn't sure how to change that in the conversion. I can make it darker by tweaking in the AC Editor but that is not the real answer. It's the contrast not the brightness that needs to be reduced. I would continue to try and improve it but since so many people hate it, I probably won't :-(
