F1: Caterham CT03 Launch
The Caterham CT02 has made its first appearance in time for the start of testing.
Technical director for Caterham …. Mark Smith said the car is “an evolution of CT01 rather than a complete re-design, allowing us to focus our resources on developing areas of last year’s package where opportunities would give us the greatest return, whilst also beginning work on the 2014 package”.
Smith added the car will remain in the same configuration for the season opener in Australia New front and rear wings and a new diffuser will be added “soon after the start of the season”.
Among the changes to this year’s car are more deeply undercut sidepods. “The diffuser, engine cover and cooling exits have also seen major changes,” adds Smith, “and there are more subtle improvements to other areas of the car, such as the sidepod turning vanes and the lower tea-tray area”.

Nice lighter green color. But seriously, why still that platypus nose as rules don’t require it anymore.
Anyways, this will be the car that half of the Netherlands will follow in 2013 with Guido vd Garde behind the wheel.
too much added weight and no real performance gain from the vanity panels. but this years lotus is looking really good i think.
It’s a frog with a duckbill. The only thing they had going for them was the British racing green. Why?
