Assetto Corsa: Tech Preview Screenshots + Game Info
In the past weeks it has become clear that the upcoming Assetto Corsa Tech Preview is a playable, no-time limited benchmark that allow gamers to get their first taste of the Assetto Corsa engine. The Tech Preview includes one car, one track, various difficulty levels and two play modes: free practice and time attack.
The purpose of the TP is to report feedback, benchmarks, bugs and allow Kunos Simulazioni to fix issues and fine tune the final version of the PC simulator before its final release to the public as a demo and full game.
Game Features
The preview allow gamers to drive the Lotus Elise SC on the Italian track of Magione, reproduced using advanced Laserscan Technology and will be compatible with keyboard, X360 pads, joysticks, steering wheels and any kind of customizable gaming devices.
Minimum System requirements
- Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8
- DirectX 10.1 / DirectX 11 graphics card with 1 GB Video RAM
- Dual core CPU
- 2 GB Memory
Windows XP is not supported: AC Tech Preview might be compatible with any DirectX 9/ DirectX10 cards, but it doesn’t support this kind of hardware.
Technology Preview Access
The TP is available only for owners of Kunos’ previous sim racing title: netKar PRO as a thank you to their loyal customerbase. The free for all demo is expected later this year. Anyone who purchased a copy of netKar PRO since 2006 can use the games activation code to fire up the AC Tech Preview.
