WTCC: Münnich Motorsport joins with Seat Leon

After a very successful campaign in the FIA GT1 World Championship, where the team claimed the title in 2012, ALL-INKL.COM Münnich Motorsport is shifting focus towards the FIA World Touring Car Championship in 2013.

The team of René Münnich enters the touring car series with three Seat Leons and the driver line-up will be formed by Markus Winkelhock, Marc Basseng and completed by the team principle himself.  On the Facebook and website of the reigning GT1 champions the brand new livery for the cars was revealed.

    I think I remember an interwiev in which Winkelhock (or Basseng?) stated, it’s unlikely to see them in WTCC in 2013. Lack of interest or such…
    I’m glad they changed their minds and are in hehe:)
