SCS Celebrate After Euro Truck Simulator 2 Release
SCS Software have extended their thanks to early purchasers of the ETS2 game on their official blog this weekend. They are pleased that so many people extended their vote of confidence in the title and encourage them to continue to improve their truck simulation titles.
The company said,
Yesterday, we felt the urge to make a small gathering in a corner of our office and drink a toast to celebrate. There was a reason to celebrate – sales fromwww.eurotrucksimulator2.com just exceeded 2 thousand copies (in about 15 hours since midnight launch), and seeing our game high in the sales charts on sites like Amazon.de, Amazon.co.uk, CD Galaxis, Empik, Gama-Gama, Orange.fr, Spelbutiken, or JRC, the afternoon felt really special after working on the game for so long.
Work doesn’t just stop now the game is gold and selling copies. The companies bug/feature tracker is currently loaded with plenty of work to do in patches for the game, some of which were addressed in the release day patch to version 1.1.1. Of course digital editions arrived with this patch applied but if you have a copy on disk and haven’t updated you can grab the patch at the games official site http://www.eurotrucksimulator2.com.

Congratulation guys, some great work done there, I love the work on Szczecin but I think you missed a few pot holes on the roads.
Dobra robota
The best version yet, was a pleasure to pay for it.
Now if only you would let me help you make it even better
Amen, this would suit you perfectly Mark
Any word on a Steam release?
If the game was on Steam,i think I’d be snapping it up
awesome truck simulator!!
took one look at this photo and laughed, why? well i could not help thinking it should be big beer mugs in their hands and not dainty little champagne flutes.
They put if forward for Steam’s Greenlight but by 12th Oct it had slipped to #43, so from this I’m guessing Steam (Valve) won’t see it as a potential download option.
Maybe since the demo launched the interest has spiked on Steam Greenlight and it can start moving back up the list.
Im gonna go lick its like button, see if that helps!
Congrats SCS. I won this sim and have enjoyed very much.Worth the money fellas.
congrats i have invested in your work and very nice it is too….
