Roundup: Goodwood Festival of Speed 2012
The sun was shining and the weather was sweet in England during the past few days. Obviously, that makes you want to move your feet – and put the pedal to the metal, in all honesty. Thanks to this warm welcome at Goodwood House in West Sussex, England the estimated 150.000 visitors & team members could enjoy this years Goodwood Festival of Speed to it’s fullest.
Featuring lots of both classic and current race cars of all kinds and manufactured by both professional motorsports teams, car manufacturers & one or two hobbyists (there was a motorized bed around from what I’ve heard), enabling every participant to show off what they have and, obviously as well, what they once had in their arsenal.
This is a small, photographic, roundup of the past few days in Essex. Especially Keith from f1fanatic.co.uk did an amazing job and posted lots and lots of pictures on his website, so make sure to stop by and take a look at (hopefully) all of them, too! If you’re interested in going there next year, you might want to keep yourself informed on the official website or read up on the festival on wikipedia!
