F1 2011 The Game: 1999 Formula One Season Released
The 1999 Formula One season saw Mika Häkkinen from Finland claiming his second and last World Driver Championship for McLaren – Mercedes. Other competitors for the title were Eddie Irvine (Ferrari), Frentzen (Jordan) and Coulthard (McLaren) and the Schumacher brothers (Ferrari & Williams).
Ryder25 on behalf of the other guys of the RDDev Team (ML2166, SK Racing and Warok) just released a total conversion changing your PC version of F1 2011 The Game into a great Formula One 1999 experience during your races, as all the teams and drivers (data files) are present in this modification for PC game owners.
Features
- Helmets: Four new helmets are included for the Jordan and McLaren teams.
- Liveries: New liveries have been made for Jordan, Mclaren, Sauber, and Williams. Benetton and Arrows are using placeholder liveries, not from the 1999 season.
- New Drivers: Race amongst the ranks of 21 new drivers!
- New Teams: Compete for 8 new teams like Benetton, Prost, Stewart, and much more! (Includes Toyota from the 2002 season as a bonus)
- Driver/Team Strengths: All drivers and teams are edited to match their skills and positions as close as possible to the 1999 season.
- Retirements: Retirements have been fine tuned for maximum realism, based specifically to each driver, and track.
- Car Performance: Each car has been modified in Power and Weight to match the real life performance.

OMG! I can seriously see myself doing season 2 of my career with this!
OMG? :cautious: Are you Andrew, or Andrea?
The season that Jordan surprised the world. Was such an incredible performance of HH Frentzen that entire year. Awesome season.
Weren’t the noses very different in 1999? They were narrower and more pointed at the very least. The rest of the car is remarkably similar if one doesn’t look too closely, but the noses are not.
Unfortunately, F1 2011 doesn’t allow modifications to 3D models. Only the liveries could be modified, the shape of the cars remains the one of 2011 season.
Yes, I realize that and it is a pity. But a good job nevertheless.
terrible “fine” tweak.
only “fine” cars are mclaren and ferrari as usual.
love the late 90′s…probably because i love Hakkinen.
that’s not being biased is it?
F1 2011 has horrible physics.
I would have done this for rFactor (with Toxic ENB Mod for up-to-date graphics).
