SimBin Secures License Deal with Circuit Park Zandvoort
SimBin Studios released a few new work in progress images of their upcoming project announcing a renewed deal with Circuit Park Zandvoort in The Netherlands. The series of screenshots show the track in detail highlighting various iconic corners of the track such as the Tarzanbocht, Scheivlak and Audi-S.
Completely unknown is from which upcoming game these shots are coming as SimBin confirmed to RaceDepartment a few weeks ago that previous released images of cars and tracks did not belong to the highly anticipated title GTR 3 causing a lot of confusion in the sim racing community.

Again, it looks very nice. And again, I never saw anything mentioned about which game it will be…. Is this some form of marketing strategy?

Looks nice and sharp but i am not fan how the contrast is imo. Hope thats done afterwards.
Because its quite dark on a sunny day and the pics already hurt my eyes.
Ivo, please use (cheap)yellow/orange polarized glasses(not dark) to get more contrast and fine colours for every sim/game, especially on tarmac. I got the idea from Jari-Matti Latvala who uses those glasses and it helps even to improve your performance
The Seat advertisement on official tower is removed about than 10 years ago.
Half round hangars in the paddock are not there in real life. They use to be, but that’s decades ago.
Soundwall at the Tarzanboch is completely off, much to low.
Short layout piece of tarmac is completely missing.
Many trees are placed on fantasy positions.
The crane at the Audi-S corner is supposed to be a Shovel.
That same crane supposed to be placed at the inside of the Hugenholtz bocht, but than a much bigger model.
Television crane next to the offical tower supposed to be place on the other side of the straight just before the grandstand.
I can tell they did not use any laser scanning data, or not even a proper photo excursion during a major event.
Modeling and texturing looks nice, but hopefully they fix those things.
Otherwise it’s just as far off as the previous simbin version.
The boys at Simbin should check the iRacing and Simraceway versions for accurate modeling and placement of objects.
Thanks, I will be sure to forward the feedback to our track guys! I live just around the corner from Zandvoort, and it has been the easiest reference trip I have ever been on!
As mentioned on the raceroom forum, we are aware of some things not being correct (yet!). Hence the screens are being labeled WIP. We are still working on the track on some areas.
To finish your list, the starting lights that have been changed to FIA standard lights, compared tot the ones we have at the moment. And the iconic scoreboard before Tarzan has been removed.
I am not sure if we will be replacing a crane for a shovel though!
But we will do our best to make sure everything else is correct!
