Red Bull Gridsters & Win Tickets Goodwood Festival of Speed
Red Bull Gridsters is on a quest to find the UK’s best virtual racer when the competition comes to the 2012 Goodwood Festival of Speed (28 June – 1 July). Gridsters is a new, unique competition format that aims to find who is the fastest, most versatile racing gamer across three different racing titles on two different platforms (Forza Motorsport 4 (XBOX 360), Gran Turismo 5 (PS3) and F1 2011 (PS3)). 16 of the UK’s best gaming talents will be taken from the comfort of their couches to the cauldron of the race track in the Red Bull Gridsters Dome to battle it out over two days of competition at the prestigious Festival of Speed.
The initial selection process involves logging onto redbull.co.uk/gridsters and submitting a video outlining gaming credentials along with submitting gamer tags from either the PSN or XBOX live network. Top spots on the Forza, GT and F1 2011 ranking boards, fastest laps achieved and prizes won in tournaments should be shouted about. 16 finalists will then be selected by a panel of industry experts to head to the Goodwood Festival of Speed to compete for some astonishing prizes, including a trip to the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, as well as the accolade of being crowned Red Bull Gridsters champion.
‘Young Guns’ is the theme for this year’s Goodwood Festival and with youngest ever double Formula 1 World Champion, Sebastian Vettel, attending the gamers will be rubbing shoulders with the motor racing glitterati and looking to catch the eye of any team principals who may be overseeing procedures!

Forza Motorsport 4
As for why I shall be chosen, well, according to a recent survey I seem to be pretty good
P.S. Is the plane ticket included ?
No, entry tickets only
If you start swimming now you’ll just make it in time
Darn it ! XD
Been a while since I swimmed, need to get back in shape
Even when you get here to Blighty, with the weather were having you’ll still need to swim to the event.
Dry land had never been so wet!
too bad I’m too slow and don’t have any of the mentioned titles
, where are the porper prizes the the true simracers
F1 2011 is the best and they call me Rocketman so thats what are u missing out Red Bull
Best game would have to be FORZA!
They call me ZeroRisk as I’m very quick as if it’s risks that i must be taking to be so fast yet i really don’t take any at all. It’s just natural, fast, dirty speed…
Redbull would be missing out on an incredible talent, who is also really, really ridiculously good-looking, that brings the car home in one piece whilst being charming and very well spoken and polite to the media and sponsors, if they didn’t pick me.
F1 2011 The Game
As a Formula 1 fan, I am not Sebstian Vettel, not Mark Webber, I can’t drive the best car around the world, but the game is the way that I can really feel I’m in the sports! enjoy the different circuits and corners.
I would pick F1 2011 The Game. This is because when there is a Grand Prix on the TV, I will look to see how they drivers drive the circuit, and then spend the next week playing the circuit on the game trying to perfect it myself! I’m even watching the Valencia Qualifying as I type! Furthermore I am a friendly gamer always looking for new people to play with!
