Jack Keithley Wins RD Touring Car Championship Season 8

The RD Touring Car Championship is the longest running online motorsport series at RaceDepartment. Launched in 2006 the RDTCC is the leading international online touring car championship with the world’s best sim racers. After already the eighth season we can add another glorious champion to the roster of virtual stars as Jack Keithley claimed the drivers championship.

Keithley Joins Hall of Fame

The Briton started the season  in a BMW 320si E90 racing for RPM/GT Omega and switched teams halfway the year finishing the series running in the Precision Motorsport outfit. Keithley has been among the few that started and finished all 18 races and that alone is quite an achievement in touring car racing nowadays where its common to swap some paint here in there and where racing incidents always happen due to the close racing nature of the series. Jack will now be added to the Hall of Fame where famous champions from the past, like the Sander and Tim Hogendoorn,  Rami Kaukola, Simon Trendell, Roland Ehnström, Henrik Horvath,  Jesper Taulborg, and Miguel Neto are already residing.

To continue with his impressive statistics the BMW specialist won seven races, set the fastest laptime on ten occassions,  and qualified on pole-position in fourteen events which eventually put him on top of the championship standings before fellow BMW driver Henrik Horvath from Hungary and the first front-wheel drive specialist Jimi Hughes, the runner up of last year, in a Chevrolet Cruze.

rSeat Prize Winner

This years championship was powered by www.rseat.net, the Bulgarian hardware manufacturer provided a full RS EVO V3 Gaming seat rig with a triple screen monitor stand, the RS STAND T. The drivers that showed full commitment during the season and starting in all 18 events were selected for a sweepstakes where the winner was picked via a random draw. We congratulate Marcel Hulsbergen with his fantastic prize and thank rSeat for their wonderful support throughout the season.

We hope to see all 100+ drivers back during the ninth season of RDTCC in whatever game that may be!

I received the rig already but the T stand I still don’t have. I have build it, and it is amazing good. Parts fit very well and it is so easy to build. Compared to my Obutto this one takes around 1/3 of time to build.

It is very adjustable and sturdy.
