rFactor 2 – Audi R18 LMP Mod Coming
After some time in stealth development tommy86 today revealed some very good looking models that will make the hearts of endurance fans beat a little bit faster as the Audi R18 2012 is in the works for the rFactor 2 simulation of Image Space Incorporated.
The Audi R18 is a Le Mans Prototype with a 3.7 liters V6 turbocharged diesel engine and a closed cockpit. During the current season of the FIA World Endurance Championship the German car can be seen in two different versions both dominating the last 6 Hours race at Spa-Francorchamps.
The Audi R18 Ultra with a reduced air intake restrictor and a smaller fueltank than the model that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2011 and the Audi R18 e-tron quattro, the hybrid version of the Ultra utilising a flywheel accumulator system for energy storage which delivers 500 kJ to the front wheels via an electric motor, giving the car four wheel drive.

I haven’t really considered buying rFactor 2, but it looks like there’ll be lots of modded content!

oh that looks like a beast, i hope this mod is ifinished end of this year ,would be lovely to get some interesting racing going around Christmas time
