F3 Euroseries Star Daniel Juncadella Joins RDTCC S8

Since 2006 RaceDepartment is blurring the line between real and virtual motorsports and in the last six years a wide range of real life drivers have joined the grids of our official and supported online leagues. It’s with great pleasure that today we can announce the return of Daniel Juncadella to our flagship touring car championship the RDTCC.

The current leader of the Formula 3 Euroseries, driving alongside the DTM, will join with a wildcard for the rest of the season starting with immediate effect this weekend at a soaked and wet Istanbul Park in Turkey and will continue to race the two remaining weekends at the Race of Spain (Valencia) and the thrilling races through the narrow streets of Macau.

The latter will be a special event as Daniel has won the Macau Grand Prix last year. This legendary street race is together with the Masters of Formula 3 event at Zandvoort the race of the year for F3 drivers in which a lot of current Formula One drivers have participated over the years. Famous winners include Riccardo Patrese, Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher, David Coulthard, Ralf Schumacher and Takuma Sato.
