Aquila CR1 Work In Progress Shots
Jay Ekkel of SimBin Studios posted a few development pictures of the recently licensed Aquila CR1. The pictures show the development progress from drawing board all the way to a working car in the game itself.
Aquila is a Danish race car manufacturer that designed the V8 Powered CR1 Sports GT as a “2-seater coupé build purely for racing, on track events, track days and racing schools.” In a nutshell this is a low cost car designed for those who want to enjoy track days and develop their driving ability.
More information is to be expect this Wednesday so stay tuned for more.

wow that car looks so good, we’re spoiled for choice, GTR3 , AC and rfactor 2 next year , bring on simracing!
dont forget Project CARS
@Scott Webber I’m going to be broke by the new year
I’m not convinced by these pictures or what they have released so far.
To me they just look like GT Power with some higher reflections added.
There looks to be a lack of textures and materials on the model, if you take into consideration the released pics from iracing, rfactor and pcars these models look dated.
I mean I can do a higher rendered model of the Pagani Zonda R in Bryce then the pics they have released for GTR3.
I can’t stop looking at the tarmac next to the simbin logo. It has such a weird swoosh.
Time to see a good movie of the game play
If it were photoshopped it could have been made all nice and straight, I agree!
Maybe we should start photoshopping the pictures..
