rFactor Racing Club Bulletin #1
Moving into a new era for the rFactor club, here at Race Department, here is the first of the new weekly news bulletins, showing you what is coming up over the next 7 days.
Saturday fun events are now being run to provide an alternative to all the serious racing that happens the rest of the week. Keep an eye on these bulletins each week, as there is some real fun stuff coming, including Trucks, Bangers, Offroading, and some others which provide equally excellent entertainment.
Here is what the next 7 days has to offer…
Fridays have recently seen the return of Caterham Academy in the club, and its proven quite popular, so it’s here to stay. The event starts at 20:00 GMT, and will feature 2 x 25 minute races around the wonderful Dijon 79 circuit. You can find the signup list and details of the mods required by clicking here.
Saturday is Specials day. The content varies week to week, with the theme being fun orientated. This Saturday we see Legends to be raced around the simple but tricky Mallory Park Circuit in the UK. Head on over by 20:00 on Saturday to sign up for the event, by clicking here.
Driving in F1SR’s F1 1994 LE mod is the best way to spend your Sunday evening. Tricky, yet rewarding to drive, these cars provide excellent close racing. Official practice starts at 20:00 GMT, followed by a 10 minute qualifying and 2 x 20 minute races. Sign-ups for this week’s event at Hockenheim 88 can be made by following this link.
After a short absence, and back due to popular demand, is XXX Team’s 207 Super 2000 mod. To kick things off, we are racing Gravel vehicles around the Knoppelfeld dirt track. This event is starting to fill up already, so to get signed up, and find the download info, please visit the event thread which can be found here.
Another new addition to the club from this week, sees the wonderful BMW 320 E90 touring cars racing at their home country’s Nurburgring Sprint Circuit. There will be a 10 min superpole qualification (1 Flying Lap), followed by 2 action packed 20 min races. All the details can be found in the event thread.
Thursday sees the start of the rTrainer series in the club. Intended for users who like close racing, the schedule mirrors that of the Sunday F1 events – 10 mins of qualifying, followed by two 20 minute races. The event takes place at Mid Ohio from 20:00 GMT. Click here for more.
See you on the track!

Very nice!!!
Great idea, looking forward to the Saturday Fun events!
Sorry, but I think you made a mistake:
The dates are wrong, it starts with Friday the 24th, not 23rd.
Wow, everything seems interesting, even though I don’t have much time.
Oh yes, oops, I got a day out of sync. All corrected now!
