Red Bull Racing reveals the RB8

Defending world champions Red Bull Racing have joined Sauber in launching their new protagonist at Jerez today. The double title-winning team return with Renault-power once again and will attempt to stretch the successful they are on.

Red Bull’s latest design is arguably the most eagerly anticipated of the season and follows the trend of the stepped nose introduced by all other teams except McLaren. Adrian Newey, the man generally regarded as the key to Red Bull’s recent domination, is again responsible for leading the car’s design.

The 2012 chassis accommodates the new regulation changes but it is apparent to see that the RB8 is an evolution of its predecessor and has still houses some of the 2011 traits.

Sebastien Buemi moves from Toro Rosso to Red Bull Reserve while the time continues with regular drivers Sebastien Vettel and Mark Webber.

As a McLaren fan, the craziness of the nose sections and front wing make me nervous. Crazy looking doesn’t generally equal speed but in Adrian Newey’s world…it often does.

    We’ll see.
